Are you the same Jim Converse living in Rhode Island who severed in Berlin with me?
Ooops my mistake -- not a pipe...it's some kind of horn.

If you would click on the picture of the squirrel, you will see it has beer and pipe lol :-)
Glad I can be of help. Let me know if I can assist in any way.

Would you give me your linage back to Decon Edwards Converse?
|Rocky Bartlow||Daniel Volz-Reading KS|
I have some info to add to this memorial. Daniel Volz's descendant, Ed Houghton, came to our Sons of Union Veteran's of the Civil War camp meeting (Old Abe Camp #16 Topeka) and gave us this info. I am in the process of verifying his grave on the SUVCW National Graves DB and was checking to make sure the info was in FaGrave as well.
He also brought a fantastic collection of GAR ribbons, etc including one awarded to Mr. Volz as a survivor of Andersonville.
I have a PDF of his obit, etc I would be glad to send if you will send your current email. I tried your hotmail and it came back.
Are you related to the Joseph Convers's that are in your memorials? I have a lot of James Converse's in my family.

|SMG||Second photo of stone|
I already HAVE a picture of Thompson Youngman's stone on my memorial. Would you please remove yours. Thank you.
This is from Find A Grave FAQs:
However, if there is already a photo of the headstone, a second similar photo should not be added unless the original is of poor quality and the new photo is dramatically better.

You're welcome. If you need anything in my area, just let me know.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I did see the article in the paper, and thought it was wonderful. Thanks for getting this man the recognition he deserved!
|Alice & Franklyn Vosburg||RE: Kenton Watts Lamb|
Jim, I'm a tad confused. Your message indicated that Kenton Watts lamb was born in 1850 and died in 1950. Slip of the fingers, or are you saying he wasn't an infant. If he's a relative, I'll be glad to transfer the memorial to you. Alice
