What a great site to keep the memories of our beloved family members and ancestors alive! A great research tool and connections to others who just may be related to you. |
I am researching on my husbands side: Neal, Neel, Morgan, Roland/Rowland, Rose, and Sias.
I am researching on my side: Werner, Veselovsky, Craig, Feeley, Carlucci, Poveromo, Paccione, Stragapede, Villari, and Hodack.
What saddens me is the amount of "hoarding" of memorials I continue to run across on FAG! I understand there are "guidelines" which have been set. However, a person should not be made to feel like they are getting teeth pulled to have a memorial transferred to them! Members know darn well, if a person they entered is related to them or not. Holding on to a memorial and hiding behind the guidelines to do so is outrageous.
The hard and tedious work put in to enter those memorials are greatly appreciated, but this site is to remember and honor those who have passed, not to have a tug of war and give astronomical amounts a proof on where the person falls on your tree.
Any photos I have posted may be used on other websites. Any memorial I have entered, which my husband or I are not related, I will be more than happy to transfer.

You're welcome to use any & all photos I take for your personal use & if I ever add a memorial that you are working on, please let me know & I will transfer it to you so you can make edits to it without going through me. Have a blessed day!

My name is Dean Neal, William's son. If I can help you with anything, please let me know. You must be a long lost cousin of mine!

I have transferred the memorials to Joyce, #831. Hopefully she will agree to maintain the links to relatives that I added.

Hello again Valerie,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Pamela Lynne Anders Testerman # 132141807
to my care. With your help, I have successfully connected her with her parents, 4 siblings, 1 half-brother, her husband and two daughters. As I receive more information, I will be adding it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Rebecca||Mary Polly Neal Burke|
Well said on the hoarding issues. I have run into down right nastiness with some people. Glad to know others are out there to share info.
Mary Polly Neal Burke is my 5th great-grandmother and the mother of my 4th great-grandfather, Samuel Burke. Samuel Burke married Mary Ann Griffith.
I don't have much on the Burkes other than Samuel was well thought of in the agricultural circles back in Lawrence Co. Ohio.
If I have any info you would like just ask! Sharing connects us.
Thank you again

Thank you. I just recently found him as well. We are meeting a man soon to show us where Hiawatha is laid to rest. :)
|Janine Morgan||Mary Polly Morgan|
Mary Polly 1799-1898, is the oldest sister of my great great grandfather William D. Morgan, 1818-1889.Both children of Thomas and Rachel "Blankenship" Morgan. Thomas and Rachel had 12 children. Since you are aware of Milton, Polly, George and Peter Isaac I am sure we are of the same family. The other children were David, Rebecca, Johnathon, Elizabeth, Jane Jennie, Anna and Anthony.
Did Mary Polly marry a Wm. Wyatt Stratton?

The cemetery people are not easy to locate. I ended up calling the Sacred Heart Church in Manville who owns the cemetery. 2 people I spoke to so far have denied me headstone location info - and I have been waiting for a call-back from one of the priests - but nothing so far.

I wish other contributors would be so kind! A lady in Baltimore created a memorial for my great aunt, and she will not transfer it to me, and she is in no way, shape or form related. I appreciate all the hard work you have done and also for your kindness. have a wonderful day!
