I have just started working on my family tree. I know how good it feels when you find another piece of the puzzle. I am in hopes that by becoming a volunteer I to can help others find what they are looking for...good luck on your journey
Young Thomason #35608091 I'm asking permission to use your gravestone photographs for online family trees and personal family trees. I'm looking at Young Thomason's today, but would like to be able to use your photographs as I find them. I would definitely give you credit as the photographer if you agree to their use.
Thank you Thank you so much for creating a memorial for Steven Matson. I never got to know my father before he died, didn't even know where he was buried, but because of this memorial it brings me one step closer to knowing more about him. Thank you again, it means a lot.
RE: Weaver Jimmie, I will do my best to answer all your questions. I am not related to any of the Weavers you mentioned--at least that I know of, though I suppose it could be possible. My GM was Susan Elizabeth "Bettie" Thigpen and she married Wm. Thos. "Tom" Weaver. She was born in Dewitt County and as far as I know was living there when she met Weaver, but I really don't know. It was my understanding that JS Weaver (WT's father) had always lived in MO until his later years, but that may not be right. As far as Thigpens go...my dad's mother was Bettie Thigpen, as mentioned. Her father was William Henry Thigpen and he is buried in Hereford as WH. His father was Thomas Jefferson Thigpen, whose father was William Walter James Norwood Thigpen (according to my records), the man buried at Halletsville. I have a Thigpen history written by my aunt Marguerite Weaver Knoll some time ago. I believe I have it in digital format and would be glad to email it to you. I had a membership to Ancestry, but not currently. I don't get to do genealogy much, and it wasn't worth the expense. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. We had quite a time finding the cemetery, but we were glad we persevered!
Fannie Jackson headstone photo Hi, I would love to add this headstone photo to my family tree on Ancestry.com with the photo credit to you of course. Please let me know if you object to this or to let me know how you would prefer the photo credit worded. If I do not hear from you , I will assume it is okay to use it. Thanks so much.
