Bio Photo Please use the edit tab when requesting updates to a memorial. Findagrave has improved the edit process by allowing you to request changes through the edit tab, which will automatically go into the fields as you have entered them. This speeds up the process and reduces the chance of error. I have found findagrave.com while doing geneology research. It has turned out to be one of the biggest assets in my research. I wanted to be able to give back and decided to become a findagrave member. After finding family my cousin Wayne and I have spent a great deal of time looking for our relatives gravestones. He is a part of the Birdtracker's team for all Arkansas entries and has been there at each photo shooting. Wayne is the provider of information on the Birdwell/Tucker side, most of whom have been buried in Boone County, Arkansas. At this time we are researching the Birdwell, Harding Rowlett, Milam/Milum, Robertson/Roberson/Robinson, and Cato, through the Birdwell line. Malbaff, Thrasher, Mosher, Hook, Wolfe, Gordon, Tucker, Baughman, Eoff, Darnell, Dudley, and Srader, families. Currently we are doing mostly family and friends, but hope to expand. Occasionally graves are photographed that are not family or friends. We believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. We are more than willing to have family members "adopt" them provided they are not in our family. We do make an exception to this for persons who have been findagrave members for a very short time, and those who manage a significantly larger amount of memorials than they have contributed. A great number of our entries are family. Please feel free to use any photos which we have posted in your research work. Recently we have photographed headstones, which are not as clean as we would like, for informational purposes, only to find that contributors account is disabled so they cannot receive suggestions. Those photos have been posted for the information they provide.

Caroline
I am not sure what is going on. I have asked F.A.G. as to whats happening. My new memorial for Caroline and all references to her with any links has been removed. Waiting for their response. Larry

I apologize for the inconvenience but I had to take down the memorial for Caroline due to an inappropriate comment posted by another. I have replaced the memorial and would be honored if you would replace the rose bouquet you posted on 7-1-11.

Deceaced 2009, I am his Grand daughter Shannon. You have my last name as Cannon but it is Tucker. Could you please change it to Tucker? That is my legal and given name. I would also like to have rights to his and all of the Tuckers you have because they are my family. Thank you.

Thank you very much for posting the photograph on this memorial. Cemetery records didn't provide the dates, so your kindness is especially appreciated.

RE: Photo - Mary Laster
Yes, I have seen many stones with various errors on them (spelling-dates-etc) also. Just curious about this one due to the obvious spelling of name and date error.

Mary Ann Gordon Hook-Lasister was my 2nd cousin 3x removed via my Grandmother Blanch Gordon Wines.

Sorry about the previous send. Sent "send" when not ready! (Old age?)

I see your research includes Gordon & Wolf(e)lineages. Possibly you are another cousin that Findagrave has found for me!

Your memorial for Mary A. "Gordon" Lasister 1857-1929, F.A.G. # 26872378, has a stone with inscription of Mary E. Laster 1853-1929. Any help with the discrepancies?

Happy Gravin'! Larry

Woodlawn Cemetery
Hello - first of all I want to say I like your "bio" and agree with you. Some of the pictures I take are not that good and I have even gone back to take some when the sun is better but you just can't do that every time. That was nice of you to offer to delete your photos and to share them.
Now - we have a problem with Mr. Arthur Zans, whose memorial page you set up at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Jackson County, Mo. The picture of his grave shows born in 1902 and death unknown.

I took a picture of his grave today here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. at New Lorimier Cemetery. memorial # 134092099 (which I set up today because there was not one). He is listed on the official records for New Lorimier as being buried here and those records are on line since it is a city cemetery. It states he is buried in section 6 lot 279 grave 5. he has a military tombstone with dates: June 30, 1902 - August 22, 1983. No other members of the Zans family are buried here. So I will send you an edit asking you to delete his page there in Independence - or you could just leave it and put a notation that he is actually buried here?? Thanks for your help. Ruth Smith

RE: John English Hook
Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you? I am not related.
