"Show me [how you care for] your cemeteries and I will tell you what kind of people you have."|
All of my ancestors for at least six generations are from Fentress county Tennessee. I have a great deal of interest in the history of that area.
Some family names are: WINNINGHAM, ATKINSON, COOPER, WRIGHT, CONATSER, MASSINGILL, BEATY, HOOVER, KING, ROBBINS, YOUNG.
I would love to have old family photos and would be glad to share mine!
I have found many cousins here on Find a Grave and would like to meet more.
"If I didn't have those people back there, I would never have had anything to write about. That's where I got all my stories from. My life is from them. … I'm going to do everything to keep up for them, in memory. That is my duty from now until I die."
- Author Ernest J. Gaines explaining why he takes care of an old cemetery on the former plantation where five generations of his ancestors, going back to slavery, are buried.

Can you please help me with what cemetery my ancestor is buried in. The memorial number on find a grave is 57393598, Eli Mullinix 1776-1842.
I am also looking where his wife, Sarah Dykes, is buried. Her memorial is #57393618. I assume they would have been buried together.
I am also looking for Eli Mullinix dad, Richard Mullinix 1745-1820. He was married to Elizabeth Poynter.
Thank you very much!

Hi Casey, Thank you for the prompt edit. If only all the memorial managers were as dependable. Some edits I have sent 2 & 3 times. Others I have been waiting a month or two. One gentleman, I sent 3 edits on the same person, I left a message, finally I sent an email, he very kindly thanked me for reminding him, and said it was done. I'm still waiting. LOL Nancy

My name is Kandy Davis and Amos and Nancy were my gg grandparents. I would like to add a photo of their headstones to my ancestry page. Could you send me a copy? My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for the photo of my 4th great grandmother's new stone. You did a lovely job of carving it.

Casey - thanks for all the help you've given. It appears the name is spelled more than one way which doesn't help trying to connect individuals.
|Scott Emery||Foddrill Cemetery|
When you created this cemetery on Find A Grave, you left a message that were going to go back and check in the grass for more headstones. Did you ever get back there - there's always more to do than we have time for.
Also, could you please look at the Fodrill Cemetery. Someone has added an extra memorial there, with a photo. But I wonder if they were confused about which cemetery they were in.
|Cathy Kooken||Fullerton Cemetery|
Dates for Libbie M. Fullerton, Born 12 February 1867, died 22 June 1893. Found in book recording of Cemeteries in Monroe County. Info in book was printed/gathered in 1939.
These folks are not my relatives, but old home is one that I admire.
|Kathy Phelan||Fred B. Mosier|
I find a picture on Find A Grave for Fred B. Mosier, but he is not listed in Rose Hill.
I looked under Moser as well as Mosier. I believe he may have been married to Lydia G. Skirvin and the son of James & Sara Jane Stephens Moser.
Any suggestions? I will get a copy of his obit to see if he does aline with Lydia and James & Sarah, but the fact I couldn't find him in the Rose Hill listings is a mystery
