My name is Michelle Renee "Shelley" (Latey) Broyles. I am the mother of three children and Oma of three. I graduated from The University of Kansas in May with degrees in Applied Behavioral Science and Psychology. I have been researching my family for 18+ years and put as much time as I can into the hobby. My husband, Dan, jokes that my idea of a good vacation is being in a cemetery, which isn't far from the truth. Everywhere I travel I try to stop and take pictures of cemeteries in hopes that someone will be helped in finding family members. I live in Johnson Co., Kansas, so if I can be of help please contact me and let me know. Happy hunting everyone!|
I get a lot of requests. Please be as patient as you can. I promise I will get to them. I am not hard-nosed as some contributors are and will be happy to transfer memorials if they are in your family lines and not mine (LATEY-FOX or BROYLES-LONG lines). Also, when communicating remember that "you get more with honey than with vinegar." Thank you everyone!
OH, one more thing, I have the sexton records for the Olathe Cemetery up to, I believe, 2006. I have yet to get them all up. I have taken all the photographs of tombstones if there is one. I am still working on getting all of those up. Let me know if you are wondering about someone and I will look them up for you.
PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE A REQUEST FOR A TRANSFER OR MEMORIAL CORRECTION DO IT FROM THE MEMORIAL **DON'T PLACE IT IN MY MESSAGES**
Only leave messages if you are thanking me, or are, or think you are, related. As I go through my messages I delete them, so that I know that I have responded or read them. Please know that I see and appreciate every one of them! :)
**** Sometimes life happens, and it is happening to me right now. I am having some very serious health issues that may result in brain surgery.
Please be as patient as you can. I know some of you have been waiting months for a response. I am not ignoring you. I am starting to work through some 500+ requests now.
I see that some of you have gone through administration, which is fine, but please don't be threatening, or passive aggressive. I am a real person, with real feelings, and with a real life. I am not retired and don't have a lot of time on my hands. I love this work and love you all for the wonderful work you are doing.****

|JOSHUA S. YOUNG||Thomas Jefferson GILLIHAN|
Hello. Thomas Jefferson GILLIHAN (#24097287) is my 2xs great-grandfather on my mothers side, so I was hoping you wouldn't mind transferring him. I do a lot of GILLIHAN research. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

I just wanted to thank you for all you do for Find A Grave. I just found the snip it of info leading me to search for Benjamin Crane in Olathe, Kansas. Benjamin is my 3rd great grandfather. (No I am not seeking management). I found a whole family!!
I may make some suggested edits for relationships as I figure out this piece of my family. I will start by adding Benjamin and Kosander to their son Oscar, my 2nd great grandfather. (I do manage his memorial).
Again thank you. This is such a great site, because of people like you who give of your time to help others discover their families.
Have a Great Day!

Are you by any chance related to James B Mahaffey? Please contact me if you are. Thanks so much.
Greetings! I'd like to obtain a high-resolution version of your photo of the gravestone for Paul D. and Caroline Hubbard. I'd like to include it in a biographical sketch on Hubbard in DEAF LIFE, an independent monthly magazine.

|Tricia B. Westbrooks||Alma Cemetery|
You made a page for A. E. Wilson at the Alma Cemetery, Crawford County, Arkansas. Do you have any information on this person? Your birth and death dates are "unknown". I'm wondering how you knew he/she was buried at Alma. I need to know for my records. Thank you very much!
