Bio Photo ANCESTRY.COM USERS:
Please do not use my personal photos or the bios on my memorials unless you ask first. I've researched and written all the information included on these memorials, some information is not included on any document found at Ancestry.
Copy and pasting is not researching!

I've been researching my family genealogy for over 20 years and love doing it.
Most of the memorials I've added are family.
I've also added some Scotland's Comonwealth War Dead, my interest stems from a great uncle that died in WWI. I found his record in the CWGC.

Transfer gladly done if they're not my family. Or will add any info or links you may have. If anyone has any corrections or info to add on any of my memorials, I'd also be happy to add it.

If you are also searching these surnames I'd love to hear from you. I'm always willing to share factual information.

RE: Linlithgow burials
Jill, I won't be in Linlithgow until the 6th of September, so don't request them until just before. I have to get a map that shows where the sections are ie: A, B. etc or I won't do this; I don't have a lot of time for searching like a did last time. I have a list with their grave number.

David Vaughn/Highland Park Cemetery
Hi Jill, was wondering about this man & this cemetery. Refer to my previous message on your message board. As I stated before, he is the only one left without a grave photo in this horrible plane crash Would appreciate any help you could give. No one else seems to be taking any requests.

Highland Park Cemetery.
Hi Jill, Hope your remember me. We had discussed this cemetery & soldier before the new year. He has been on my request list for many, many months. He is the only soldier in my virtual cemetery of the plane crash that he died in that doesn't have a gravestone photo. You mentioned that perhaps in the spring you might take a photo for me. Please don't feel obligated. I just wanted to remind you if perhaps you were able.

Thank you so much.

P.S. Take a look at my Virtual Cemetery. Very sad that all these young men died in that horrible plane crash hardly befare their military careers were started.

RE: McClelland
Hi Jill,

Thanks so much for sending me a message. Wow 20 years of research that is amazing and I am sure you have found some pretty interesting history. I have only begun on this journey, but really enjoy finding information as to where my family came from. Yes, I am also from the Brown, McCaslin, Thompson line from the information I have found from the Brown book. My mom gave me this book a long time ago and it's been sitting on a book shelf in my house, but when I started to research more I began to look through it which has helped a lot. The book I have was given to William Johnston McClelland back in 1917 from I assume a friend, Hannah Potts. Someone (not sure who) has written in some additional information (children, dates of death, etc.) that I plan to look into. Anyways my grandfather who is mentioned in the book was Stanley William McClelland, born in 1901. My grandfather had one son Robert Stanley McClelland (my father). However, my father died when I was very young and my grandfather died before I was born so I am pretty much relying on the Brown book I have for information and ancestry.com.

Hi Jill I am visiting Scotland soon and trying to locate some of my family members to visit places they may have lived or the area at least. I have a copy of a book, William Brown Family, that was passed to me. I believe christinah, which the book spells her name Christiana Brown was my x5 Grandmother. I may have that wrong as I am new to this thing. Anyways was curious what other additional information you may have. Please feel free to contact me!

Alexander Burns 1820-1879
Hi Jill,

I just came across this website a couple of months ago. I started working on my family tree at the beginning of last month. I am a descendant of a Lydia Burns, I am just not sure if it is the Lydia Burns who is one of the daughters of your GGG grandfather Alexander Burns. Would you be willing to discuss this with me? I just joined this site, so my apologies if this is not the way that things are done here.

Thanks,
Scott

RE: Brown's in Pa.
Hi Jill --

I'm Karen from Indiana. When we had contact, I cannot tell you in which state I lived. My husband's employment moved us all over the country for 40+ years.

Yes, I did know that John was not Charles Brown's bio son; believe you were the one who indicated that to me some years ago. I too have looked for more info on John's father, but have not found anything so far.
