|John||August Joseph "augie" Waldron|
While there is a Waldron family plot at the Oaklawn cemetery, Brookhaven, NY, Augie Waldron is not interred there. See http://brookhavensouthhaven.org/HamletPeople/tng/showmap.php?cemeteryID=3&tree=&offset=150&tree=&page=4
His brother, Arthur E. Waldron, is interred in Lyons family Plot #021.023 with his wife Catherine. See http://brookhavensouthhaven.org/HamletPeople/tng/showmedia.php?mediaID=1073&medialinkID=1495
According to the records of the Oaklawn Cemetery Association, no other Waldrons are interred in the Oaklawn cemetery except for those noted in the references above.
Since Augie lived much of his adult life in the adjacent village of Bellport, he may be interred in the Woodlawn cemetery there; I have not researched.

|Kinfolk News||Photo for Cyrena Crew|
It has been a long time since you took the photo for my 2nd great grandmother, Cyrena Crew, back in 2006. I might have asked before, but I can find no record, so here goes.
May I have your permission to add the photograph you took to my blog and online family trees? I would, of course, give you credit for your photograph.
Here's a link to the memorial: Cyrena Florence M. Ash Crew
Thank you for your consideration.

|fair to all||RE: PFC Lester Johnson|
Ryan, my real name is Patricia Walker Steelmon, I changed my name to fair to All due to some problems with Find A Grave, giving some of my memorials and pictures to others. We have talked before.
My father Elba S. Walker, had these pictures of Lester and the rest of the Johnson Family. They were cousins. My grandfather Will Walker and Adeline Walker Johnson were brother and sister.
I'm not sure who gave him the pictures, Lester or Aunt Adeline. My Dad was overseas in the Marine's at the same time Lester was, just different services. If you would like copies just send me your address by e-mail email@example.com and I will have some made and send them to you. Do you know Diana and Bill Johnson, of Michigan, He is the son of Ralph Johnson, Houston Johnson'S son? I have sent them some of the pictures, quite some time ago.

|fair to all||Lester Johnson|
Ryan, I put a picture of Lester in his uniform on his memorial site, I hope you don't mind, it was one that my dad had of him. Both were over seas at the same time, my dad Elba Walker was in the marine's. My dad told us that he never knew about Lester being killed untill he returned home after the war.
|Susan Davis Passaro||Jewells in Baptist Cemetery, Hopewell|
Hi, I was in this cemetery and made photos of all the Jewells, but don't want to post and perhaps get in your way! I see you've recently made memorials for this family. If you'd prefer to take your own photos, that's fine; but if you'd like to see the ones I've made I can post them, and then remove any you don't want. I did put one up for Willie S. Jewell. Take a look and see if the quality is acceptable.
Just let me know what you'd like me to do. I can remove Willie's - no hard feelings. :-) Thanks! Susan
|fair to all||RE: Pretty sure we are family...|
Yes, Bidie Joe Johnson and my father Elba S. Walker were 1st. cousins. Adeline (Walker) Johnson and James William Walker, my grandfather, were brother and sister.
Family graves is most of what I do on find a grave, when I find they are not listed.
I have very fond memories of Aunt Adeline and always enjoyed going to visit with her.
I worked at the hospital in Wagoner at the time your great-grandfather died, as well as his brother Charley Johnson.
I always enjoy hearing from others in the family, and enjoy swaping stories with them.
