Thank you to all those who have contributed to memorials in our care, and spoken in a kind and friendly manner, it is a pleasure doing business with you.
Mike is now retired after 40 years of government and military service and we have moved to the "North shore", so no longer living in NOLA.
I am finishing up posting photos from St. Roch Cem 1 in NOLA between our training sessions. The training is for our upcoming five to six month hike on the Appalachian Trail (2,187 miles)starting March 9, 2015. You can follow us on www.trailjournals.com trail names: "Sparks n Bushy" March 2015.
Please please please use the EDIT button.
Right now I am still actively working on FAG but after March 9th I will continue to do the edits about once a week but ONLY THOSE PROPERLY SENT THRU THE EDIT BUTTON ALL OTHERS WILL BE DELETED. If you found a dupe just go to the admin people and ask the two memorials to be merged, thank you so much for your patience.
I have no problem transferring memorials. I do although REQUIRE you request the transfer correctly.
Please go to the memorial you wish to have transferred to you. Click on the "edit" button, go to "suggestions or additions" request the transfer AND put your member number.
YOU MUST DO IT FOR EACH MEMORIAL YOU ARE REQUESTING. Thank you.
If you wish to use any of our photos for your personal web pages or family books you have our permission, if you could site the source that would be appreciated. They may NOT be used to sell or repost to other public web sites without prior permission and providing source.
Thank you for your time.

Appreciate the many photos you take and also that you add memorials for people named on the tomb that do not already have a memorial. If you got a thank you for each memorial you email would be overflowing. Jane
|Heinz57||Salvatora Curreri Glorioso|
Thank you both for these great photos ! Salvatora was the wife of my great-granduncle Frank Glorioso. They were a childless couple, and by the time of his death in 1965, she may have been mostly forgotten and her burial vault evidently re-sold. Frank was buried in the tomb of Mr. & Mrs. Mike Lorentino in Greenwood Cemetery, but I have no idea if her remains were transferred to his tomb or not. (The Lorentino tomb bears no inscription for her.) My family has no known connection to the Richard family now housed in her vault, but please leave the photo, at least for the time being, as this was evidently once her resting place. (Phillip Glorioso is also no known relative. ) More research is needed and I will continue to keep you posted. Again, many thanks !

I guess you all are really excited about the retirement and also preparing for the AT. Thanks for letting me in on the site to follow your journey. I am an old hiker myself, but now days my knees will not let me go very far. My son though is finishing up his gold of hiking all of the trails in the Smokies and he would love to have time to tackle the Appalachian Trail. I hope that you all take the time to take many pictures. Aren't digital cameras great?
It would be great if you could enter on Find A Grave the photos from the Cox Cousins Family Reunion and yes! once you have them on the Internet they will be accessible to everyone forever. I am going to update my photos at the Cox #2 Cemetery to the larger size allowed, so anyone wanting a copy can get a much clearer image.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I will be following you all on your AT journey. Good Luck and have safe! great! trip.
Your TN Cousin

|Joseph Mann||FAQ Memorials|
It is nice to have you back with FAQ. I also get the occasional inappropriate comments, but I must recognize that some people don't appreciate why we go to cemeteries and take these photos. They are to honor those who have passed. You are providing a service for future generations.
Ignore those people and keep up the good work.
