I want to say "hello" to everyone that takes the time to sit and do this for the one's that walked this earth with us and before us.. I think it is a wonderful way to spend my time to respect those in my family tree, and others. I can't think of a better tribute to a loved one..thank goodness for this site !|
I wanted to touch on a subject I have been hearing volunteers complaining about lately; and I want to voice my opinion on this issue.. I am a Volunteer.. if I go out and take a gravestone photo for someone else and put it on this site; then I consider that picture to be a gift.. just like my time, gas, and energy to go do it is a gift. If the requester of the photo wants to add that picture on their family trees, that's ok with me; as far as I am concerned; that picture does not belong to me; it was a gift.. use it anyway you want to; I don't care; if you want to give Findagrave.com or me credit; that's nice and respectful to do. The bottom line is that I consider this as my time of doing the Lord's work.. and I give it and the photo's freely.. Gail

I have added the gravestones of the Stone Family in Lyndon, NY & also in Franklinville, NY.
I am hoping that you might know where Clayton Stone & his wife Ellen Spring Stone are buried, last I knew that they were in Colorado. Please let me know.
Sincerely Your Friend, Laurie S Tokarsky

Hi, I don't know anyone in the family who might have a photo. After he died, his widow married my Uncle Joe Clemens, but unlikely any of the Clemens' side would have a picture. Catherine

I found a marriage record, showing her marriage to a James P. Nelson, born 1887 in Denmark. The marriage took place 22 Oct 1901, Upland NE. Does this jive with your record of events?

I've done my dna and was wondering if you've done your autosomal dna yet. So far my Dad, his 2 first cousins and myself have done our autosomal dna. They are all uploaded to gedmatch. Let me know and we can touch bases.
|Laurie Wilson||Hattie Emerick|
I filled your grave request for Hattie. She is buried next to a Helen M. Evans Birth yr. 1923. There is no death date and a Charles L. Evans. Hope this helps.

Nellis/Rickard are in McIntosh Cemetery.
FYI - I know there is some confusion about the name of the cemetery. It is Mcintosh Cemetery aka Ohio Cemetery. There is another cemetery about a half mile away on the opposite side of the road, which is the original Ohio cemetery.
McIntosh Cemetery is at:
and Ohio Cemetery is at:
Both are in the Town of Ohio. I used the coordinates to make sure I had the right cemeteries. There are no signs on either cemetery.

No problem - happy to look. I did spot another Egan couple - James F. & wife Margaret L. Egan. I added memorials and photos for them - perhaps they are related. I am in St. Mary's often - I'll keep my eyes open for the Egan name.

thank you for posting his picture. He was married to my grandfather's first cousin.
|Nathan Haines||RE: Thanks a bunch !|
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
I have never heard of Klean Logik. I am pretty skeptical of cleaners. There are a lot of things that some people use to try and clean gravestones with, that have chemicals in them, and it works real good for the short term but what they do is eat into the stone and accelerate its deterioration, which is not good!
