Bio Photo I am sill chugging along picking at them.
Please no more rude messages, or I will have to fix it that no messages can be left..

Thanks for all your support!!! This is a very important site to keep active, not hate full. For the transfers,,,,I really want to go thru some emails before transfers are done. And YES I have done transfers, and some have been transferred to me. So the numbers will be off a bit (how rude to some of you few, uggg)

I do not do edits every day. But I do try to get to them every now and then. When a marker only has one date on it, that does not always mean that they were born and died on the same day. (just a small FYI)

Yes I lost approx. 6000 photos of Fairlawn and other cemeteries that were taken about March 2009 when my computer crashed. It kills me that they are lost. I have not been back to that cemetery since I had a falling out with a groundskeeper. And now years later I have health issues that keep me from walking cemeteries like I used to.
June 2015

I know I am a bit behind in edits. I will try to get all caught up in the next 2 weeks.

Thank you so much for the additions. Though it's hard for me to see them all in one place. He was one of my mother's brothers. They are all gone now. I can't find 2 of his children, though I know one for sure is dead and believe the other one is. So there are only 2 of his children not on that list. Again, thank you.

Sorry to hear about losing the pics. I've just started and I'm just learning about walking the cemeteries. I don't know how long I will last at my age (76). I did see your note about not doing edits everyday so I will stop worrying. I just found my uncle's site a few weeks ago, and that caused an avalanche of memorial sites. Clarence was my mother's brother and I will be so happy when all 9 of the siblings show up on a page. And they have to have parents first for that to happen. I do appreciate what you are doing. Phil Schlee
Birth Year of Sylvanus Sandford
In spite of what the tombstone inscription has as the year of his birth (1870), he is listed in the 1870 census record as one year old -- this record was enumerated by his father on May 1, 1870. So Vane must have been born in 1868/69. I'd go with 1869, due to his age at death (22)(see his obituary in the Oklahoma City newspaper for July 7, 1892). But he might have been born in 1868! I wish I knew the month of his birth!

Thanks for pointing out my mistake on Charles' stone. Are you a relation? If you are and would like a transfer, please let me know.

George A. Cornell
You are the best! Thank you for posting the photo of George's gravestone when the other volunteer was telling me it didn't exist. I really appreciate it. I'm going to show the picture to my 96-year-old aunt in her nursing home. She knew the family and will love seeing his final resting place. Many, many thanks!
