Bio and Links
Bio Photo Findagrave has a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This feature is a true blessing.

***** REQUESTS FOR CORRECTIONS *****

UPDATE REQUESTS RECEIVED BY EMAIL:
Please keep your requests via the "other" information option to a minimum, as the workload has become unsustainable.

Over zealous senders may find theirs deleted. Hope they switch to messages via flowers. Thank you.

REQUESTS TO ADD OBITUARIES:
Obits under copyright should be summarized and will not be posted, so please do not send them. In most cases, there is a 72-year or longer time period.

DOWNLOADING POLICY:
If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit. Under no circumstances should they be added to other sites (such as Ancestry) as if they are your own.

Photographs of individuals require PERMISSION, and if lifted from here without appropriate permission or credit are subject to licensing fees.

REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS
Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.

As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

RE: Fricke Family
Hello Mary,

I totally understand. My new found Buerger brothers have been keeping me on my toes. No sooner than you can say BOO! They've got me working Kositzka people ... Seriously, the surnames are killing me. And a lot of the records I'm having to work are in GERMAN ... eeke!

At the moment, I think the only memorial I'd like to manage is Joseph Thomas Klenovsky, Find A Grave Memorial# 50581077.

The other Fricke children are in a different cemeteries.

Have happy holidays ... and remember, I totally appreciate the transfer, your mom's dedication and all the work you've done.

Reber Family
Hello Mary,

Thanks for getting back with me regarding the memorials for members of the Reber family. I'll be happy to maintain the memorials you've transferred to me.

I'm fascinated with the history of Welton Cemetery, where we found the headstone for John W. (J. W.) Reber. According to the story told me by the property owner there, many of the headstones had been found being used as flooring in a nearby barn. Someone removed the headstones from the barn, moved them to Welton Cemetery, and created a makeshift memorial for them there. Apparently, no one knows where those headstones originally came from; they might well have originated in Amanda Township Cemetery and/or other cemeteries in the area.

RE: Fricke Family
Thank you very much,

I have done my due diligence on the ones that are iffy and not actually in my tree ... have left a note on those that I cannot discern any relationship and offer them up gracefully to any one interested. Perhaps tomorrow I could send you a couple of transfer requests, but I only think you have like two I'd like to manage and right now my head is a little rummy from working on Fricke family line ... plus I had to rush to get info together for a trip to Waterbury Connecticut for Anna Buerger's family people.

Don't you just love genealogy and Find A Grave? And many thanks to your mother and all her hard work. She did some awesome stuff.

YOU TOO! You are rocking it too.

Thank you so much again, for the transfers and everything.
