RE: Dohany Family at Holy Sepulchre, Michigan

I wasn't sure if or how you were related; but it's no matter and obviously no rush. I just wanted to make sure you knew of the graves so you weren't looking elsewhere.

We're supposedly headed for some unseasonably cold and possibly snowy weather next weekend - but you never know. However, this may be my last good weekend for cleaning the stones.

I hope to clean the stones and get the photos, before the weather turns, but things can change pretty fast this time of year.

If nothing else, we'll talk again, come spring! LOL!!

Thanks & Later.

Dohany Family at Holy Sepulchre, Michigan

I fulfilled two of your photo requests at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.

There's quite a few more family members in the plot - if you make their memorials, I'd be honored to add their photos.

The stones are as follows:

Alice Dohany Frenzel (06-82)
Charles E. Dohany (77-60)
Emmet E. Dohany (69-49)
Julia Foley Dohany (1942)
Louise L. Dohany (71-65)
Mary Evelyn Dohany (02-94)
Robert L. Frenzel (03-70)
William Furgason Dohany (04-96)

Lilian Julia Bush (08-98)

Miss Lilian's stone is next to Mr. Charles' and is of the same design as some of the other stones.

Please, let me know how you'd like me to proceed.

Thanks & Later.

I placed the flowers and flag at the grave site. I usually do that when I take a photo for a request. Sorry I am unable to help you.

RE: Leona Remp
Hi; I don't have any info other than the obit posted. She was married to my grandmother's brother, which makes her a great aunt by marriage, I guess. I'll do some more research and see if I can find out more.

I attached obit to her memorial. It mentions Heiner's Wissel location, daughter of Jacob & Susan Epler.

Shepard Name
I checked back with the caretaker for the cemetery again. He gave the exact same area. I went up and searched around again. It appears that the one memorial is the only monument with the name Shepard. There are many plots around the monument without markers. I would assume that since they had one memorial standing that they just never put markers on the others buried there. Hope this helps.

RE: Buck & Heaney photos
The "book" was finished in time for last Christmas. We made ten copies (for Mom and each of the Melcher kids). Thanks again for the use of the Buck and Heaney photos.

Daniel Miller
Hi I believe I found Daniel Miller at St. Pauls in Fleetwood. The headstone is very hard to read.

Since you are about 500 miles closer, I have transferred both of these St. John the Baptist burials to you.
