Bio Photo I enjoy family history research!
I believe that as we understand our roots, "the hearts of the children will be turned to their fathers"!

Please use any pictures that I may have taken of headstones to help with your research. And, good luck with your family history endeavors.

Have fun and be kind to each other!

Lorenzo Dowe Leonard is not buried in the Ballard Cemetery in Grayson Cty....he is buried in Ballard Cem. in Galax (the city of). I made the same mistake on some of my memorials. If you look on new river notes you will see he is in the one in Galax.

Donald L Woods
Donna, is the Donald L Woods buried at Valley Lawn Cemetery in Montrose, Colorado the son of Lowell and Dorothy Woods?
Dorothy is my mother, Selma Rose (Ford) Peterson's cousin, so her son was my second cousin.

Baby Murdock
In your listing for 'Baby Murdock' in Highland Cemetery, I believe it is the following child;

James Elmer Murdock, b. 14 Dec 1922, d. 19 Jan. 1923
His parents were;
William Arthur Murdock #81022258
Sophia Elizabeth Russell Webb #134572079

If you want to check, you can find the family listed in under Nancy Moore's listing. Or feel free to contact me through this site or at my email below. James would have been my grandmother's half-1st cousin.

Her name was Hannah Almira Walker, 1846-1922. This is her husband's headstone. My understanding is that there is no marker on her grave. I have submitted corrections to Find A Grave for her, assuming they will process accordingly. Could you possibly remove the headstone photo? Thank you. Your work is very much appreciated.

Ruth Bigby White Hancock

Ruth is my family member and I would love to have her site transferred to me. If she is your family member, I would love to share pictures, etc. After Ruth died in Colorado, her family moved back to Union County, Illinois where Art's family was from. Ruth & Art had 2 sons Roger and Wayne. These two sons were both killed in the military in WW2. They also had a daughter Eulah who married and had a famiy.

Thank you,

Nancy Garbero

Thomas, Albert, & Frances Button photo requests
You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!
