Thank you SO much! It is very kind of you to remember and to make the effort. Much appreciated.

Her mother's name was Sarah Thompson. I have seen one reference to her maiden name as Johnson, but everything else list it as Thompson. You will find John O. McKinstry and his wife Sarah starting with the 1850 census in Trigg County, KY and you will continue to find them in 1860, 1870, and 1880 censuses. I do not know what happened between 1880 AND 1900. They do not appear in the 1900 census. Would be interested in anything you could find on them. Thanks so much for all your help.

Her findagrave memorial is # 68898366. She is the younger sister of my great great grandmother. Her father is John Orr McKinstry and his findagrave memorial is 51588756. If you could link them, that would be great. Are you related to her? I guess that would make us kinfolks!
