My husband and I live in the Johnson County area of Texas. I am a family researcher and have a huge family tree at ancestry.com. Let me know if you are family and want to check it out. I spend endless hours pouring over old photos, going to cemeteries, and courthouses. I love it! I have traveled all over looking for the final resting place of relatives. My favorite place to do research is Pocahontas County, WV. It is the coolest place on the planet. |
My main family lines are Campbell, Bernstein, Smith, Lampman, Thompson, Jack, Capstick, Robinson, Britt, Dollman, Ward, Loan, Bodinsky, Denyer, Wilson, Wilkins.
Much thanks to everyone who have left flowers for my loved ones. I really appreciate it.
From the Find-A-Grave FAQ:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Bulk surname requests should not be made.
Please consider using the Virtual Cemetery feature to organize lists of your relatives.
I ask that you respect my efforts. Please, do NOT copy my photos to ancestry.com or any other website without my consent.

Hi, you placed this person on a memorial. I was wondering if he has a head stone or if you got his name from a book. I would like to have a picture of his headstone if possible.

Thanks for the info. Lonzo is my 3rd cousin, 1X removed. His mother Amanda is the daughter of Salina Hobbs, my 1st cousin 3X removed. I was researching Salina when I found Amanda's kids and started looking at them. Maybe you can help me out..do you know if Eli Hugh Salina's and Roan's child? I know Roan was married 2 or 3 times.
Have a great day!

Would you kindly allow me to copy Adolph's headstone photo that you took. He is a cousin of mine and I have never seen a photo of him. I would greatly appreciate it and give you credit for the photo.

I was wondering if you would mind transfering James Madison Wilson Memorial #33845971 to me
Richard G. Reed. Also, I noticed that you have
a Campbell family on your list. Can you tell me a little about them as I alos have a Campbell family connection. My email address is email@example.com.
|Chris Easley||Mobley's in Cleburne Memorial|
I have added headstone photos to three of your memorials. They are RD Mobley and his wife Lois Elner Mobley and their infant son listed as 'Infant Mobely'. The family connections are based on what is on the respective headstones. You may want to go ahead and link husband to wife and son to parents since we have the headstone photos to back up the family linkage. For your convenience I have listed the names with memorial numbers below:
RD Mobley - 34061193
Lois Elner Mobley - 34061182
Infant Mobley - 34061157
|Sandra Mitchell Quinn||Eva Reeves and John W. Nunn|
Hi, could you possibly see at the courthouse a marriage license for Eva A. Reeves and John W. Nunn? We are trying to figure out if she was the daughter of AJ Reeves and Celia Priddy buried in Johnson county, Texas and photographed on your site. Thank you for any assistance. We are wondering if her marriage license would show this. They married 11-22-1877 in Johnson county.
Thanks for updating Maggie!

Thank you for updating Find A Grave Memorial# 33838497. This was my wife's GG-grandmother.

Jen; Thanks for all your work on Find-A-Grave. Could I ask you update this one? His parents are in the Moffett Cemetery with him - James I Easley(60628694) and Mary Jane Perry Easley (11416404) His birth date was 12/12/1849. He was a 2nd great grand uncle of mine - not that close, but well documented. Thanks.... Fred Riegel (46547467)
