Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, my name is Sherry (Legoo) Hess I love doing my family research and enjoy sharing with others. I think my biggest joy is finding family and making the connection. I have found so many cousins especially in Minnesota, and the list continues to grow. Sometimes I wish I lived closier to them all.

My great grandparents are Scott Goodwin & Malinda Porter, Benjamin Lego (Legoo) & Ceceilia (Hansen), Carl Lamm & Thyra (Lind), Ralph Debord & Flossie (Nelson), step great grandparents William Roske & Augusta (Genung), Louis Anderson & Louisa (Weltha).

No need to ask permission if you want to use my photos for personal use, but please give proper credit when using one of my photos - Sherry Hess, Find A Grave Volunteer, #46943118

RE: Helen Anderson
Right. I saw that when I went back for the Mem. No., thought that might be the case. Thank you for time and effort. Keep up the great work. Was Bill a direct relation?

Certainly, Sherry. Please feel free to share any of my findagrave postings. You might also check the Emmet County GenWeb site, which has a wealth of information about Emmet County, Iowa.

RE: Alfred Cornutt
Alfred Cornutt is the father of Noah Cornutt. He and his wife received an Oregon Donation Land Claim in Oregon City at the United States Land Office. At that time The Dallas, Oregon City and Roseburg each had had a United States Land Office.

Noah was perhaps the most successful member of the Cornutt family. He farmed and raised blood line live stock.

Thank you for your question. Please feel free to ask more. I was given stewardship over many of the Cornutt family members.

Sincerely, Martin Burrell

I received a message that memorial 37475105 is a duplicate of your memorial 32224898. I submitted a change with the burial plot information, which is the only thing I see missing on your memorial. When I see that you accepted the requested edit, I will delete the duplicate memorial. :o)

RE: Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery
Thank you for asking - you may use my photo for your own private tree with, of course, the proper source credit. You may NOT, however, add it to a tree you have published on a website such as ancestry.com, myheritage.com, myfamilytree.com, etc. Once a photo is on those websites, there is no control of publishing and republishing without permission.

Sorry to have to be this adamant - but the commercialization of 'finding you roots' has taken the integrity out of true genealogists and family historians.

Sincerely,
Diane Winters
