I enjoy taking pictures as much as walking through a cemetery. What a peaceful combination! My sister Lisa is the one to credit for turning me towards Find A Grave. She has been doing family research and I get to look for the stones to our past! It has been a long road and she seems to keep finding a small path to another place in time.|
I am a wife, mother of two boys and care taker of my mother. When I need free time for myself I go to the cemeterys. The most peaceful places are cemeterys and the most interesting!I have met alot of people, helped alot of people and learned new things while gathering stones to the past. Please be patient with me while I walk among the stepping stones to our past.In my travels if I see a stone to your road I will take a picture and share with the world. Who knows our worlds may meet down one of these paths.

Fran, thank you for the transfer, if you take a minute to read my bio you will see I have a huge family, all listings on my page are relatives, your work and photo makes it a lot easier to make all the connections.

Hello again Fran,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring Robert Leander Smiley to my care. I have successfully connected him with family and offspring. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Just in case you do take on the requests I have some information that might be helpful. John Simpson died when he was 13 years old. Rosenner her real name is Rosena. But I think you will find her name as Rosenner on the stone. Well she is the mom of John. Hope this helps. Thank You so much.

Hello I have some photo requests that a relative of mine sent out at the pigeon creek cemetery. could you take the pics? Sorry to bother you but its really important. And I see that you took some pics at the cemetery. So that would be greatly appreciated if you could do that. Here are the memorial numbers 6286706 and 6286704. Thank you!

Just curious to know why you are adding photos when one is already on the memorial in some cases and is readable. I noted a number on my Gault memorials in Mingo Cemetery. I think Findagrave asks us to avoid this due to the space it takes up but I could be wrong. I do appreciate your dedication in helping to make sure this history is recorded. Who knows how long the tombstones will survive - so many have been lost. My 2nd great-grandfather's grave was lost when the power's that be plowed over an entire cemetery years ago. No record can be found of reburial and I doubt that it happened because photo's show turned over stones at the outer edge of where the cemetery once stood. Marji

A huge thank you for the work you do entering information in Find-A-Grave.
I have information that I believe is accurate.
John Brown Hollcroft was born 3 Feb. 1797 in Washington Co., PA.
Maybe that will help someone.
