I lost my one and only son, David Ray Raley, Jr., to congestive heart failure on December 3, 2012. Sadly, on August 11, 2016, my oldest daughter lost her life to congestive heart failure. One doesn't expect to bury their children. My heart is broken.|
A native of San Diego, CA. Family roots are: England, Maryland, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois & California.
Please feel free to peruse through the memorials I have set up for these very special people listed here. Some are family, some were acquaintances, some are past co-workers and some stories have touched my heart as I read of their demise. To view the entries, click on the words "76 Memorials Added" listed to the right of this column. You will then be directed to a page with names of those I have placed on this site. Thank you in advance for your kindness in visiting.
If you wish to use my photos, please do. Also, I will not question a transference of ownership of any memorial I have posted who is not my own family. Ask, and I'll be most happy to turn it over. My attitude about this stems from my not taking life too seriously and...like many here on Find-A-Grave, I am not a numbers collector. I started doing this many years ago strictly for fun and relaxation.
Woodward, Barnes, Jones, Dollar, Minton, Hale, Ford, Cupp, Nall, Maddox and more that I cannot think of off the top of my head.
For corrections or concerns about the listings, please feel free to send me an e-mail at:
Thank you in advance & may God bless & keep you in His tender care.

NOTE: To the person who had a memorial set up for my mother and told me all I had to do was ask for a transfer: you make it known to everyone to make sure to go by the Find-A-Grave rules and guidelines for a transfer. I don't go that route. Personally, if anyone asks for a transfer of ownership for a loved one or someone they knew that I have posted, I gladly transfer it over...no questions asked. So, no...I did not ask for a transfer. In fact, because I have my own memorial set up for my mother, you can keep yours!

No unfortunately I did not. I just enjoy visiting her :) Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to read about the untimely passing of your son... what a tragedy.
I couldn't agree with you more about the contributor of Find A Grave who are in it to amass numbers and unwilling to transfer memorials. Who's going to request a transfer if they’re not somehow attached to the person who the memorial was created for? I can understand if you have a family connection and you'd rather maintain a memorial yourself, but not to transfer based on the Find A Grave guidelines is incredible stupid, selfish, insensitive and controlling. I think these people love the recognition and sense of control they feel with their numbers and when they refuse to transfer. Guidelines are just that "guidelines", not absolute rules and/or regulation that must be adhered to.
Thank you for your find-a-grave contributions, kindness and proper attitude about the memorials you create. Please continue the good work, find-a-grave needs more contributors just like you!!!

I know I have to do my area really quick or its gone. Then when they do put them up, they are adding the obit which is great, but not adding the info in the other boxes because they are in a hurry to grab the next one. Then I have to sent in the corrections.
Thanks for the comment.

You are so welcome.
What a smile and I will bet he was a great son to you.
There are no words except to say that my faith says we will be reunited with our loved ones some day if we know the Lord.
God's Best to You,

Hi - Thank You for the response, I can't believe the time that blew by since my mom's loss to my getting back around to some of my friends' pages! I just listed his name, and I hope that it will bring a few visitors who might not have known about your son without the listing...hope that all is well with you and yours, and that we will be in better touch from now on. Take Care - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Well, it has been a very long time since we last spoke, and I am coming round again to see whether you'd mind my highlighting your son's page again...one of my friends noted that the tokens had slowed down, and I have basically been offsite since my mother's passing in August, 2013. =( But I am back, and I have kept you in thoughts and prayers - would you like me to do any highlighting again? Let me know, and I do hope that all is well with you and yours -m I am just very, very happy that 2013 is long gone, not a keeper of a year for me! Hugs, Rhonda and Gannon Blue
