I have been doing family history since my mother died in 1975. I have really enjoyed getting to know my people - who they are, their sorrows, and their joys and how so many of them survived the hardships they faced each day. How they buried so many of their precious 'little ones' and the heartache they must have felt as they watched 'one more' being laid to rest. I have learned to love each one of them as I've put their stories together.|
I found that I love to visit cemeteries, that I find peace and solace there. Each cemetery I've visited has been unique, beautiful in its own way and very sacred.
I'm excited about the Find A Grave website and really enjoy helping others. If you would like me to transfer any memorials I have created, I will be happy to do so, if they aren't related to me.
My best wishes to my fellow Find A Grave members who are very dedicated and work so diligently to help and serve others.

I attached a Stone photo for your friend Helen Burrows.

Look at Ferrin Glen Schoss memorial. Ever wonder why my photos are so brilliant? I only shoot in FULL SUN and I slop on a product called "Super Stone Brite" with a paintbrush. Aw Peggy, because we are Bestest Friends, I'll tell you where you can get Super Stone Brite. It comes out of your kitchen faucet!

Maybe you could help me!!
I'm a Gunnison Born. I do not live there now. But I just live 1 hour away. I've been having some troubles with some of my families memorials. The people who have added them say they are there from the records from Salt Lake? So looking at this very first one of this memorial of yours from here I have questions. You say he is not buried in the cemetery! I asked the recorder from the city. She didn't know where the old cemetery was? You do apparently!! :) Where is this field at from the cemetery? Maybe that is where some of my relatives are!! And one final question...do you know of the old cemetery up in Christenburg? It's the "Town" between Gunnison and Mayfield. My grandpa told me about it. But everywhere I look online I see no records. I just thought since you knew of this you might of it.
Here is your memorial of Aaron:
Death: Aug. 14, 1913
BE RESTFULL AARON SON OF ABRAHAM DIED AUG.14.1913
Note: Aaron is not buried in the Gunnison Cemetery but in a field nearby & has a beautiful headstone. Most of the writing is in Hebrew.

You're very welcome. I did take some close-up photos, but I wasn't sure whose memorial to add them to. I'll send them along to you to do with as you like. :)
