I have been researching my husband's and my family's histories for several years now. Whereas his ancestry in America dates back to the 1600's (and even before that because of his Native American roots), my ancestors only started arriving here from Europe in the mid 1800's.
RE: Hello cousin Hi, again, cousin. Thanks for your response of a few weeks ago. Life gets crazy here too, so I understand. My belated condolences on the loss of your mother. Losing a parent is always a difficult thing to go through. I hope things are getting better now.
So, having established that we are cousins, I was wondering if you had any information on Alfonso DePrisco's parents? His father was Franco or Francesco, as you know (our common ancestor), but I know nothing about him. Was he here in the US? Did he die here? Where is he buried? And what about Filomena DeMuro? I have absolutely nothing on her either. Hoping you can help me with some of this!
Alfonso DePrisco Hello again. You have my maternal grandfather, my presumed great grandfather, and my mother's sister listed as your paternal relatives, so I'm pretty sure that we are cousins! I'm so hoping that you will write to me so I can fill in that side of my family tree. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Very much looking forward to hearing from you,
DiPrisco/DePrisco I am the granddaughter of Alfonso DePrisco and Teresa Landi. I know that Alfonso was the son of Francesco DePrisco and that they lived in Wilmington, DE before Alfonso married and moved to Chester, PA. I never knew exactly how my grandfather was related to the DePriscos of Wilmington, but I know there has to be a connection. Can you help me with any documentation that Charles and the other DePriscos are Alfonso's brothers? I found a census entry for Frank Briscoe in the 1900 census and this seems to have been Francesco DePrisco (name mangled by the census taker), but his wife is listed as Teresa. Did Francesco marry twice? Did Filomena DeMuro ever come to the USA, or are Teresa and Filomena the same person? Or is Teresa a second wife? I'd love to hear from you about any information you might have. Are we cousins?

RE: Christian Peterson grave You are very welcome. Two friends and I photographed all of the readable monuments at WB last year. Unfortunately, due to age, many are too weathered to read. Are goal is to get all of the cemeteries in the area.
Our current project is Silverbrook. We have been waiting for the weather to get better to start again.
Feel free to use the photo or I can email you the original. Denise
Margaret E DePrisco Evans Margaret was my aunt by marriage. Her husband was my Uncle Douglas Evans (my dad's brother). I never really knew Margaret because she passed away when I was very young, but we used to visit Uncle Douglas and his children at Fort Myers near Arlington. Sonny, Susie, Alfred, Verna Lee, Lillian (Chick), and Johnny were my cousins, and I haven't seen any of them for many many years. There is a memorial for Douglas on this site: Find A Grave Memorial# 49179420. I plan to add an obituary and a photo of him eventually. Thank you for adding this memorial of Margaret and also the one of Susie. Brenda Evans Irby
