Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started doing genealogy research in February of 2010 and have enjoyed this hobby tremendously. I have found a wealth of information on FindAGrave and have even connected with other family members from information I have found. I appreciate contributors who have taken the time to build memorials that provide a wealth of information to me and other researchers. Added information such as obituaries and family links have made my research so much easier.

I live in the Denver area but my family history is mainly in Fort Bend County, Texas. It would be impossible to find all the information that I have obtained without sites like and FindAGrave.

My purpose for contributing to FindAGrave is to help other serious researchers in their quests for information. I will transfer a memorial to a closer family member upon request. Please tell me how you are kin to that individual along with your request. I also welcome additional information that you may be able to provide for my memorials.

You have my permission to copy photos that I have posted on FindAGrave.

Willie Baranowski died Dec. 22, 1968 in Davis and buried in Davis Greenlawn Cemetery.
photos were taken.

I am wanting to know if Willie (William)'s wife Sara Lou is buried there also, cause i cannot find her.
I know she remarried and her name is Sara Lou Padon. Her family seems to think she was buried in the same cemetery but she is not listed in the Find A Grave. Can anybody look to see if she was buried next to him?
his plot is Section F, L42, Sp.9 if that would help. His parents are probably close by too. they are there.
Sara Lou Padon was b. Jan. 25, 1928 and died November 4, 1979 in Harris County, Texas.
We just want to know where she was buried.
Thank you.

RE: Albert and Malinde Kramer
With that type it's a combination of the material used and the style of cutting. The letters are embossed, rather than engraved, and the edges are very shallow. The font used is a very thick and blocky sans-serif and the numbers are hard to distinguish from one another (especially 0, 5, 6, 8, and 9). The material itself, which appears to be some kind of granite, is highly reflective and is speckled with multiple shades of grey. Too much or too little light make these an enormous pain in the rear to get a good photograph of - I've learned some tricks since to get them to look better, but it's still a 50/50 chance that they will come out barely readable. I'm happy to see that this style is falling out of fashion (the font alone dates them from the late 50s to the early 80s), and people who are using this material and surface vault style to match a family lot are using thinner serif fonts and having them engraved rather than embossed.

Oh my, I'm rambling. :P

Looking at the photos I took, I think they are buried next to each other. With that type of marker I usually stand between the two surface caps and take photos of both plates (when the light is poor, these are so hard to get a good image of, and those were also taken two cameras ago). In this case it looks like Albert was on my left and Malinde on my right. The database has her death year as 1970, so if that better matches the documents you came up with, you probably nailed it. I will transfer them to you now. :)

RE: Greenlawn
Great. I think I will do a quick walk thru of that side and look for markers from 2014 & 2015 just because.

RE: Davis-Greenlawn Photos
How long has it been since you did that side? Should I make a walk through in search of any markers newer than say 2013 or 2014?

RE: Headstone Photos at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery
I had been wanting to do this for a long time but had to wait for retirement before getting started. My plan at Greenlawn is to photo every grave and then check it against Find A Grave to add the photo and/or the memorial. Takes a lot of time but I enjoy it. I didn't realize there were so many burials not listed already. I have completely done the side of the cemetery the funeral home is on and some of the other side. Now that the rain has stopped and as soon as the mosquitoes die down, I will again work on the other side of the cemetery. Once I have done all the cemetery, then I'll only need to do a walk thru a couple times a year to look for new graves and headstones. With you entering the new memorials and me taking photos, we make a great team.
