Ella Jane Martin
RE Ella Jane Martin #90536409, in Crown Hill Cemetery. Hello Richard, How are you? Don't know if you recall showing me the Banks-Standish Cemetery a couple of years ago. I am wondering if you would either transfer Ella Jane Martin to me or do the links, below. She is my 1st cousin, 4x removed. I am related to all the Standishes, Banks and Martins, etc. in the Banks-Standish Cemetery, and presently I am trying to add links for those in that Cemetery. Last year I was back in Salem and Livonia visiting Shirley Batt (my second cousin) and stopped by the Cemetery again. Thank you. Linda Standish
This is Ella Jane Martin, daughter of Merrit Martin, #21212001, and Julia Ann Standish, #20855257, and spouse of Adoniram J. Sallee, #83777837. They had 3 children: Oliver M. Sallee 1885-1963; Christianna Pearl Sallee 1893- 1943; and a daughter born 1884.

RE: Goss Cemetery 1 and 2
Your are absolutely correct. However, the one that you list as Goss Cemetery 2 with the "Goss Cemetery" sign is the only one in Clark Co. and lies in Wood Twp. If it is possible, please move your Goss Cemetery 1 to Washington Co., IN. However, the GPS location you give for Goss Cemetery 1 is actually the location of the Goss Cemetery 2. It lies on the farm of Gordon Trainer who is also a member of the Borden Institute Historical Society.

Sincerely,
Bill

Goss Cemetery 1 and 2
Richard,
There has been some confusion as to Goss Cemetery 1 that you have listed and Goss Cemetery 2 that you have listed. The location that you have listed for Goss Cemetery 1 is actually the location of the cemetery you have listed as Goss Cemetery 2. the description that you give for the location of Goss Cemetery 2 is actually located in Washington Co., Indiana. There is only one Goss Cemetery in Clark Co., Indiana. If you can, please delete Goss Cemetery 1 and drop the 2 from the other Cemetery. Any questions let me know.

Sincerely,
Bill

Emily Meadors at Conway Cemetery
Richard - First, thank you for recording and publishing info. I visited both Bunker Hill and Conway Cemeteries this weekend. I am the great grand daughter of Solomon and Susan Meadors (Bunker Hill) and the grand daughter of Elisha and Liza Meadors (Conway). My father was William Kern Meadors (Kern). I am trying to find 2 pieces of information: 1. Who is Emily Meadors (1847-1876)? I didn't find her tombstone at Conway. She must be a relative but I can't figure out how.
2. I'm looking for any linkages to Solomon Meadors (1827-1889). I was hoping that the tombstone would have something but it was just Solomon and Susan. I'm guessing his children purchased and erected it after Susan died.
If you have any additional info, I'd appreciate it. I am trying to link Solomon to the other Meadors living in Washington County around the Civil War.

Gladys Bundy
You have added photos for Gladys M. Bundy (#79572520) and Gladys N. Bundy (#81679430) at Crown Hill. Just a friendly fyi: those two photographs are reversed.

Thanks for all you do for findagrave in Washington County,
~ Lynn

RE: Jesse Durham on War of 1812 memorial
Thanks so much for the explanation. My experience through the years is people confuse the two Jesse Durhams and the mistakes keep getting passed down the line. Thanks again for your help.

Jesse Durham on War of 1812 memorial
Richard,
I know that you may be the wrong person to ask, but since you do a lot of genealogy work, I'm going to ask. Why is Jesse Durham on the war of 1812 Monument in Washington Co.? I have been tracing the Durham's in Washington Co. and Clark Co., Indiana. I have never found the above Jesse Durham. The above Jesse Durham is Jesse Bugg Durham from Jackson Co., Indiana. He moved there from Laurel Co., Kentucky. My Jesse Durham moved from Knox Co., Kentucky, settled in Orleans, orange county, Indiana and was on the 1850 census there. He then moved to Washington Co., Indiana where the Washington Co. Durham's were started. I am just curious as to how the to Jesse's were mixed. Can you shed any light on this situation? Thanks so much for your time and work.
