I was born and raised in Monticello, Florida. My parents moved there with my dad's parents to work for a guy starting a nursery. We'd visit Oklahoma every summer ever since I can remember and I swore that when I turned legal age, I was moving to OK. We all moved to OK when I was 17. I never knew my Oklahoma family that well because of the distance and since my getting involved with our genealogy, I've learned a lot of interesting things. Some great and some that aren't so great. I love this website. I'm adding everyone of my family members that I don't find listed. I hope my adding them will help someone else in their quest to find their roots.
