Epsom Holder had 4 wives.
Sarah Wright married in North Carolina:
North Carolina Marriage Bonds, 1741-1868 Record
about Sarah Wright
Groom: Epson Holder
Bride: Sarah Wright
Bond Date: 06 Apr 1827
Bond #: 000139378
Level Info: North Carolina Marriage Bonds, 1741-1868
Record #: 01 145
Bondsman: Ebenazer Perry
Witness: D Stockton
The Second Marriage is listed to Rebecca Fletcher
Name: Epson Holder
Spouse Name: Rachel Fletcher Marriage Date: 1 Oct 1836 Marriage County: Marion, Indiana.
Apparently she either died or something else, because a 3rd marriage is listed in Marion County, Indiana 31 December, 1837 to Sally Webb. I believe that this memorial in Confidence Cemetery is in fact for Sarah Sally Webb and the age on the stone may actually be 59 yrs, 6 months, 12 days which would place her birthdate 9 Feb, 1813. which actually matches census records.
Children of Epsom Holder and Sarah Sally Webb would be Emily Jane Holder born 1844, William Presley Holder, and Elizabeth born 1846 Indiana
Epsom's 4th wife was Isabelle Jane McCormick Jeffries, Widow, Married 7 Feb, 1873 in Wayne Co., Iowa. She passed away In Aug, 1886, Wayne Co., Iowa
Thanks for any help that you can give me and also my cousin getting this updated.
|David Griffin||RE: Maurice Pond|
I remember Maurice. His parents and sister and her family. Kay is my first cousin, her mother and my dad were sister and brother.

No, I am not sure. I will do some checking for you.
|Doris Christensen||RE: Matthew Harvey Nida|
You are more than welcome. Took me a while to figure out the stone belonged to him since it only had his initials.
As in many cases with different spellings, wonder if he and the Nidays buried there are actually of the same family?
|Doris Christensen||RE: Ellen Mc Elroy Troster|
That would be good to find out for sure where Ellen is actually buried. IF/when we ever get back to Hazel Dell I will try and see if there's a way to get the inscription more readable. Wish us luck!
