If you would like me to make a change to a memorial, please use the tab to do so, so that I have a link to click on. I am very willing to add information and make changes to memorials, but please state your sources for others. I follow findagrave rules for transferring memorials. If you qualify for a transfer, please include your member number, as I don't have time to look it up.|
Please don't ask me to add a birthdate if it is not on the stone, unless you have proof of birth. Such as a bible record, death certificate, or other fairly reliable source. I have had multiple people requesting different birth years to be added, and I don't know which is correct without a source.

Thank you so much for creating a memorial for my 3rd great grandmother, Elnora A. McWhorter Creamer (and her little boy, Hugh).
Findagrave memorial # 22764438
I have additional information, regarding Elnora and Hugh. Both of them succombed to Asiatic Cholera, on Oct. 1, 1854, while visiting Elnora's father, in Selma, Illinois.
Here is the source of that information:
Vol. XXIII, No. 1
Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society
For historical value, it would be nice if you could add Hugh's death date to the memorial page you created for him (his name is inscribed on his mother's gravestone).

great-great-great granddaughter of Elnora Creamer)

I have info also to add to their bio's.
If you aren't related would you consider transferring maintenance to me so that I can connect and add their info?
Thank you so very much for all you have done.

You should post a picture of the stone fragment you found if you have one. That will make it easier to locate his grave if somebody visits. I’d like to see it anyway.
Jean are you related to the Hefner family in Lexington and Mrs Guy's sister??? If so are you the summer volunteer at the Fort??? If so I have more ???? For you☺

Is Martha D Spears Sprout the mother of Sammy (Memorial # 149357004 ) and Benny ( Memorial# 149357112 ) and if so do you have any idea of which husband they belonged to ? She was married to brothers James Washington ( Memorial 44489394) and Orrin Harvey (Memorial# 31767556). I would like to link them to someone if possible. Thanks.

I have not seen a stone at Pleasant Hill for him, just have it in family records. Do have his wife buried in co. I am going to look through burial cert and see if I can find one. Thanks for the info always like to be right. I was still wondering who your grandparents are. We do own the Vincent farm. No stones for his parents either. Did find stone for Lu with Lewis and Elizabeth A stone. I will get them posted. Thanks. Sally
|sally breese||RE: Pearl Downey|
Jean, Who were you grandparents? We do own the fa rm around the cemetery. We bought the farm to the east of the cemetery from Tom Vincent family. The farm to the west was my grandparents, some of the Vincent farm was in our family years ago. I found a tombstone for Pearl Downey at Pleasant Hill. I will see if I can find any other record for him. The stone says son of M.R. And A. Downey and it is their plot. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the grave marker photo for Daniel Strevey at Scrogin Cemetery - I appreciate your generosity! ~ Chris
