Past President of the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society (www.mvgenealogy.org) & author of New Copies of Old Records from Hebron CT, 1708-1875 (Heritage Books, 2011) & various articles on New England genealogy.I have transcribed Litchfield County, CT cemeteries from the Hale Collection because I'm looking for 18th Century collateral ancestors in our Birge, Fox, Hatch, Holcomb, Hindman, Hunt, Noble, Peck, Thompson, Wilcox, & Willson lines. If you are related to other families in these cemeteries, let me know & I will transfer ownership of memorials with your surnames to you so you can add information and links. I have many other Connecticut ancestors in central Connecticut cemeteries, where I will also transfer memorials unrelated to our family.Most of my Connecticut memorials are copied from the Hale Collection, which transcribed all Connecticut tombstones during the Depression. The transcription is not error-free, but Hale was able to read things then which are no longer legible today.The New Hampshire entries are all from Colonial Gravestone Inscriptions in the State of NH, by Mrs. Charles Goss (1942). None are close relations of mine, so if you want to make additions or corrections, please just request a transfer.When contacting me about a specific memorial, PLEASE do so from the Edit:Corrections & Queries tab on the memorial itself. This makes it SO much easier for me to respond quickly & accurately.|

I submitted the following to you via the edit links last September, but have not heard back from you:
Find A Grave contributor JayLyme has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for David Sloan.
Link to memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=82107663

I have been working on photographing and documenting all the graves (19) in this small early Lyme lot, and am on town committee to enable its restoration. I wonder if you would be willing to transfer management of this memorial? I can add genealogical data and add comments

|LadyGoshen||Porter Cemetery (aka Stetson) in Lyme NH|
Stetson was merged into Porter which is the official, current name. This has resulted in emphasizing the duplicate memorials. Although the memorials you created are older, they lack photos and links. Would you be willing to remove them and allow the more complete ones to remain? Otherwise we will have a lot of work to do with updating... frankly, I'd rather spend the time photographing and creating new memorials for cemeteries that haven't been documented yet.
Just to be clear: I'm just trying to sort out the situation--I didn't make any of the memorials.
thanks for your consideration,

Would you change it for me please. Thank you for you devotion to genealogy detective work you have accomplished over the years. I feel the same to devote to my ancestors.

Thank you Linda for making a transfer to me of Nehemiah Hayden. I'm in the process of now merging the remaining 2 duplicates into your original site.
|LadyGoshen||Benjamin Porter and Martha Porter|
Thank you for updating these memorials (82079004 and 82079037). However, please remove my name from the bio--the source is cited and I'm not looking for recognition.

|Charlene Adams||Margaret Everest #55167305|
According www.to Hale-Collection.com (Town Hall Cemetery Records, Salisbury, Litchfield, CT) Margaret, dau. of David & Margaret is buried in Town Hall Cemetery (AKA Center Cemetery). Do you have information that she was moved or did Town Hall & Town Hill confuse things.
|Deborah Nelson||Ann Tripp Ingalls|
Hi Linda, this is for my Ancestor Ann Trip Ingalls, I have seen reports that Ann is burried in the Western Burial Ground, Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts USA you have her burial location listed as unknown. Are you able to verify if this is the correct location? I am in Texas and not anywhere near Lynn MA. Thank you.. Deborah
|K Berry (KBC) & JGBC||Transfers|
Your Bio says you will transfer memorials you are not related to, and I was wondering, if you are not related to the following persons if you would consider transferring them? They are not within Findagrave guidelines, but are my direct ancestors, and I feel I could do much to their memorials.
1) Isaac Miner (1764-1847) Old Cemetery Whitfield NH # 81970564
2) Mary (Avery) Miner (1764-1843) Old Cemetery Whitfield NH # 81970592
Thanks for your consideration!
