I have been posting Ohio Death Certificate information as a way to quit smoking (if my hands are busy typing, I cannot hold a cigarette). It has been working very well for me. If I have posted a relative of yours, please let me know I will be happy to transfer memorials to your care. I am more then willing to correct any information I have posted, like all information available online, the information is only as good as the person who typed it.
Thank you to all who have posted my family from the New York area - hopefully someone else will have the joy of learning about their ancestors from something I have posted.

 | Thanks for Whitney transfers Thank you so much for transferring Ebenezer and Betsey Whitney's memorials to me. Really appreciate it. They are such an interesting family to research and I'm so grateful to be able to manage these memorials. Have a much deserved fabulous day! | | | Warren Watts
 | Re: Alkire Tranfers Renee, thank you so much for the transfers of Carrie, Everett, and Alden Alkire. They are three of the children of Richard Courtney and Amanda Watts Alkire. Your work and all you do for Find A Grave and the genealogy community is very much appreciated. | | | Linda C. English

 | RE: Emma Zuercher Thank you for your gracious response. People like you are what Find A Grave should be all about. Good luck on not smoking! :) | | | teacherdeb
 | Emma Elizabeth Hammon Zurcher I mis-spoke. I posted the memorials for all of the children listed. If you want, I can delete my memorial, you can update the spelling and you can connect this lady with her parents in Clymer Cemetery. Let me know. I'll post my photo on your memorial, too. | | | teacherdeb
 | Emma Elizabeth Hammon Zurcher Ok, I'm not sure what you want to do about this. I inadvertantly posted a duplicate memorial for this lady. I took a photo of her headstone and made a memorial based on the spelling of the headstone. I admit that I did not look for a previous memorial. Here's the problem. I have contacted various Find A Grave contributors to connect this lady with her children. They are listed on memorial 106406919 along with the photo that I mentioned. What should we do about this? I don't want to infringe on your "territory" at all. | | | h2ogo90
 | RE: Schwenk yes I am related. I came down Christian the 2nds line. I do not know of an actor or writer John, I only knew that young Herman was an actor. Christians son John worked in the bakery and then became the mayor of Kingston. May I ask where you found Barbara Mahls grave in Montrepose? I cannot seem to locate it. I would love to trade information with you...I have lots of info about the bakery and Christian the 2nds line, and I am sure you have info on the other line that I do not.
I think I linked the graves you asked me too, if not, please let me know.Added by h2ogo90 on May 07, 2013 4:53 AM | | | William Stark
 | Thanks Thanks for the transfer of Lucina Barron's memorial. | | | Jim
 | Beall Transfers Thank you, so much, for the speedy transfers of the Bealls in my family tree! I appreciate the work you did on their memorials, and am glad to have the chance to add to them.
Your profile mentions that you have been posting Ohio death certificate information... is there some sort on online resource for these? I am a California native and woefully unfamiliar with some of the resources in other states.
Thanks, again!

 | re: Addington Family, Green Lawn, Columbus OH Thankyou again for the transfer of Albert, and also for the notation regarding the two other daughters. Believe it or not, both Katharyne and Helen were also interred in Green Lawn, and with the help of the married names you provided, I found them! I've written to the contributor of both, requesting that he link the daughters to their parents (Ruth has already been linked, as you will have noted).
Perhaps someday a relative will find the 're-united' family, and our joint efforts will have helped!
All the best, =]) Beth | | | | [View all messages...] |
