Feel free to request a transfer if you are related to someone whose memorial I manage. I am happy to transfer management of all except those of my direct ancestors. |
I am always glad to correct errors, link family members, and add some information. HOWEVER, I DO NOT ADD PUBLISHED OBITUARIES OR NAMES OF SURVIVING FAMILY MEMBERS.
In regard to Find A Grave Friends listed here, most of them have posted photos in memorials that I have created and still manage; some have been generous enough to transfer management of memorials to me; others have been fantastic about editing memorials; and a few are relatives who have assisted me with genealogical research.

Thank you very much for the transfer. I have deleted my duplicate.
Your absolutely correct! I have vision problems at the computer sometimes. My astigmatism is hard at work making my life that more difficult at times. LOL. I work with the cemetery directly, and don't have a one of those Kiosk's. I recently digitized the whole cemetery for it, and been working on the details ever since. They wanted to see certain pieces of information on each memorial since we rely on the site, and come into contact with the families more in the cemetery than the office. Smart phones are our best friends, and so is Find A Grave! Been asking for a Kiosk for years, but it's never going to happen. Would you be opposed to adding my information, and changes? We kind of doing things a bit differently so we don't duplicate our work. We are trying something new so people know that markers are missing or not inscribed on certain stones etc. Saves us time from going out each, and every single time for genealogical requests for photo's for headstones. Also, the grave matches the actual records. It's important that it's listed this way. The records were reported by the deceased's relatives, and labeled as such. Thanks for listening and input....

I dunno. Must be 'old guy' syndrome. I call it an 'N'. BTW, cropped pic on Ancestry.com is also ours....Thank you,

Thank you so much JKW. More people should be like you.

Thank you for updating her memorial. The accident happened about a month after her daughter got married. I'm not connected with the family but stumbled on the story in an old newspaper. Very sad.

THank you so much. Their little son, Jerry, is also buried in the Porterville Cemetery and I have requested a link to his parents from Scott Hayes. I just added the obit. Linda

She went to the same church as we do and I found her obit amongst my Mom's things. Since it has only been since 2008 when she died, I try not to put the surviving families names in the obit. So glad you are able to help with all these additional memorials. I have always wondered what does happen after the memorial maker passes on. Linda

Are you still active? I have an obit for you and was wondering if I should send it through the edit button or attach it as a picture. Linda

Sorry you got a rude message. I've had a couple, which is why my email is no longer on my contributor's page. It is disconcerting, especially since most Find A Gravers are so helpful.

JKW I was hopping you would transfer Susan's account to me , she was my great great grandmother.
