Luther Allman Robertson is not buried at Oak Grove Cemetery. He and his wife, Lura Mai McCord Robertson, Find A Grave Memorial# 154644566, are buried at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory, TN.

There is a Luther Robertson buried at Oak Grove Cemetery south of Centertown. He was the brother of Arthur M. Robertson, who is also buried there, and is my Great Grandfather. His full name was Luther Howard Robertson and was a retiree of the (NC&StL) Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railroad.

I was wondering if anyone knows why baby Susie(if born in 1879) is not listed in the census taken 19 July 1880?

RE: Lettie O Murphy Smith
Hi, Tammy,
Thanks for your message. I'm late in getting back to you. I spent some time with Ms. Olivene before she died. James Young Smith, her husband, is my dad's 1st cousin. He still lives on Odell Powell Rd.

Information on the Davenports is very useful to me. So thanks.

I didn't have a chance to spend enough time with Miss Olivene - she married my dad's first cousin, James Young Smith. He was the son of Banford Smith - Banford was the son of William Hamilton Smith.

Thank you for trying to find his burial. I'm not related to him, but I found his granddaughter Ninna Link from Lakewood Memory Gardens West in Tiftonia, TN, and I'm closer to the cemetery too. So Isaac is at Bethlehem Cemetery?

Hi, Tammy,

Thanks for Uncle DeWitt's wife's memorial. I don't know how I missed her.

Uncle DeWitt was one of my dad's favorite uncles.

Smith and Kirbys
Hi, Tammy,

I met some gal on facebook - actually different chat groups put together by Roger Arrick - Orrick in some homes in Warren Co. She's establishing a Smith lineage. I'm just trying to keep up and had suggested she connect with you on facebook because you are the one to communicate with, not me.

Thank you for all the Kirby relationships.

Rosanna Smith Kirby
Rosanna is buried in the Kirby Cemetery where "Coonie" is buried. You told me their connection but I "forgot" and had it written down but lost it. I'm finding other Smiths "Coonie" was related to. This is a great find for us. Finally. Just might find his siblings. Rosanna married a Kirby but I found a Sarah Smith Kirby and other Smiths in the same area as "Coonie."

Hope you're okay.

Hey, there!

Actually went to Kirby and Charles Creek Cemeteries. What a feeling of unity to pay respects to Coonie and Anna. Didn't think I would feel as moved by emotion as I was!
