I have the good information of grave #117632188.
That is from Annie Van der Laan De Jonge, buried Georgetown Township Cemetary/Michigan.
Annie was born on Jan. 17. 1831 at Kantens, the Netherlands.
Daughter of Tijmen Jans van der Laan and Aafke Everts Zwart and her baptized name was Anje.
Anje married April 3. 1850 at Kantens Klaas Jans de Jonge, born Febr. 16. 1828 Kantens and died July 21.1898 Hudsonville/Michigan.
With kind regards,
J. de Jonge

Great to hear from you!
Last fall Angie Robinson contacted me and asked if I would like to maintain her pages in the Holland and Zeeland area. She had Katrina at Find A Grave transfer them all to me, but I'm thrilled to put them into the hands of family or others who knew them. Ask and you shall receive!

I'm not sure what you mean by the top part of the memorial being incorrect. Can you please clarify that for me? Thank you very much!

Thanks for your response. I'm guessing it might be a misread of a cursive Douwe...if handwritten, I can see how the u and w could look like "ssi". I only bring it up in case someone is searching for it casually as Douwe, and would miss it. If it is indeed Douwe, the name makes sense because his grandfather was named Douwe van Bruggen (who is also my 4th great grandfather) and he had a son named Albert Douwe.

I saw your new entry for a Dossie Eldersveld. I was curious where you got the information - my great-great grandfather Peter Eldersveld had a brother named Douwe whose birth and death dates align with this, and he lived in Grand Rapids. I'm wondering if the Dossie might be a misread of Douwe (a name which is used in the family).

Hello. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to transfer memorial # 101919644. This individual is married to my great great great-grandfather. My find a grave number is #46957321. IO sure would appreciate it.
Thanks so much Jodi for posting headstone photos of Sjoerd & Jantje Douwstra. They are my GG Grandparents. I knew they were buried in this cemetery but I called the office and they had no record at all of their burial. They assumed it was an error in spelling when the handwritten records were computerized. I assumed the only way to find it would be to walk the huge cemetery searching. My husband and I started to walk plots of the cemetery a few years ago but gave up. And then, a few days ago, I found your photo here! Thank you!

You wouldn't happen to have access to any photographs relating to the Corning family in Michigan other than Guert Varsal Fales? Thanks!
Thank you for posting the photos of my parent's gravesite!
