Our findagrave activity stemmed from my love of genealogy, photography and old gravestones, strengthened when we saw the damage one year of weather does to an older stone that cannot stand the test of time well. We believe everyone deserves to be remembered, beyond plain, cold statistics, and document as much as we are able, especially as we travel. This is a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Findagrave. |
We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. I am eager to transfer anyone who is not family to family. People with kind, sincere words thrill me.
I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. Cooperation is the entire point of this site. I now understand why people leave Findagrave.
Do not use my photos without permission, and ask BEFORE you use them. Simple, reasonable.
USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION ON THE MEMORIAL you want updated for updates requests, transfer requests, general inquiries ANY memorial. I will IGNORE AND DELETE suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left HERE or in EMAIL, as they are REPEATEDLY, DESPITE THIS stupidly bold NOTICE.

|Our Family History||DAMARIS HOPKINS|
Name: DAMARIS HOPKINS
Interment Date: 1666
Cemetery: COLES HILL
Burial Records: http://gis.townhall.plymouth.ma.us/
Sorry but I do believe it is given the burial and yes it is a duplicate but I have placed her here due to the information I have so there for I don't believe I should have to delete this memorial as many are just setting up memorial and have no burial information. This site tell me that this group of Hopkins are buried at Cole Hill.
Boy did you get this in under the wire. We are just going out to the cemetery today. I hope we can find your Loring for you.

It is my pleasure to sponsor such nicely done memorials. Thanks for creating this memorial for our ancestor.
|Ron Hanks||Levi Cary|
I approved the edit requests you made for Levi Cary although I did go back and change the place of death to Battle Ground, Indiana rather than Lafayette. Battle Ground is actually a small town near the battlefield location. Lafayette, which did not exist at the time of the battle, is about 5 or 10 miles away.
Thank you for all the transfers for the Cushing family. I do appreciate your efforts.
Hi Anne, Thank you for the updates/bios you sent regarding the Perkins family. I have added them. No, I'm not related.
Thanks again for all your help.

Hope you don't mind the transfer. I really don't like being responsible for updating memorials, I'd prefer a "wiki" type situation.
No need. Unless you want to get rid of him. ;o)

|Kelly & Connie Byrd||RE: Seth Bradford|
Yes, I am related, but very distantly. I, like half of the U.S. am a descendant of Gov. William Bradford and his son, William. Thank you for your work on Findagrave.
|Beverley Groen Johns||RE: Jay Bruce|
Thank you for the obit. Jay was a friend of my grandfathers and actually hunted mountain lions on our ranch. Bev Johns
