As an avid outdoorsmen and a history/genealogy/civil war buff I love tracing through the woods looking for lost relatives. My father is from the Black/Littrell/Tadlock clan out of Hardin & Gallatin Counties in So Ill and my mother is a Sloter/Masters from Northern ILL. Also I have done some DNA testing and it looks like my Y-DNA shows that I'm a Flanders. I currently live in the very Northwood's in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. But I still make time every year to trace my roots and would love to hear from friends and relatives. email@example.com|

Thanks for making the requested change. He was your friend and you must miss him. My son is a fireman and paramedic. Their work is more a vocation than a job. Thanks for helping me honor those who have duty deaths. If you are interested in additional firefighters, I invite you to view my virtual cemetery, "We go running in." There are memorials for a lot of heroic people in it.

My cousin recently provided me a pic of her Dad & Bro which appears to be taken at same time as your Galyan family pic. It's quality is excellent. Check it out.

Thanks so very much for the photographs of my great great grandparents' tombstones - Thomas J and Lucina McDowell Hodges. I had planned on attempting to locate them this summer. I would have failed due to physical limitations. I would never have been able to make the hike necessary.

Thanks a ton Bob!

My mother's sister was wife of Hubert Galyan, whom I think was Uncle to your Grandmother?? I'm visiting in Florida and don't have my files readily available. Will re-check when I return home. Take care.

|Alice & Franklyn Vosburg||RE: GAR stone for Wag Heath|
1)After you get the thirty feet of snow off the grave.;)...
2)Ask what year GAR stone was set there.
3)I, Franklyn, use the jack handle method to pry up sunken stones and reset them.
I found a lost ancestor's headstone, missing in a 1930 cemetery census, by poking around with a stick. Hit something hard, dug, and stone was six inches below grass.
GOOD LUCK and THANKS!

A search by name Glen A Burroughs and not cemetery shows the duplicate.
The above memorial was the original, created weeks prior to yours.

Although born in Howell, MI, I was raised in Negaunee. My ancestors lived in Humboldt, Republic, Champion, Beacon, Amasa, Alpha, Heathville. etc.
The photos sent through email are of Negaunee. They were taken from the Bluff; Teal Lake at my back, and the residential, downtown area in front.
