Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid genealogist. Paternal lines of interest include Murphy, McLane, Jordan, Ruane, Stark, Hausrath, Farber, Engel, Robertson, Henning. Maternal lines of interest include Protani, Mastracci, Incitti, Fiori, Rosenberger, Fleckenstein, Kostohryz, Bednar and Cunat.

I make a note when I am related to one of the people I add to the database, although sometimes I forget to do so. If you're a cousin, feel free to write me. I'm always happy to talk to kin.

I have also "adopted" a few cemeteries in Baltimore which I have been trying to document. Lately, I have been making an effort to do some simple research on the people beneath the graves I have been photographing. If you are related to one of them and see any mistakes, please write and correct me. I would also be happy to take down any memorial or transfer it so that you can make your own for your relative.

I am also a filmmaker who completed a feature-length documentary about Mount Auburn Cemetery. Here is the link:

Sean,

Flood of S-A-Cs with date changes and other updates are because Ancestry has posted Pennsylvania death certificates for 1906-1924.

RE: Mount Auburn
Hi Sean,

Thanks for your reply - all good to know. I spoke with Nancy too. When she had time she will take a look at the library for me. So Thanks! You know I called the library and asked for either an obit, the cemetery record, or death record - they responded in email telling me they had nothing. Nancy did somehow managed to verify that Raymond is buried there because she checked the death certificate. I am very grateful to know that. Raymond may have had a mixed relationship - I was told that he had a girlfriend there. He indeed had what you might call a very eventful life. I am just hoping to be able to tell his estranged daughter where he finally ended up. Even if there is no stone. So as far as you know there are no cemetery section maps huh? ..And the Sharp Street Church is unresponsive? Do you know if they are still burying people there?
Well again thanks ever so much Sean. -Mary

Mount Auburn
Mr Murphy,

Wow - thanks for the movie about Mount Auburn. I could find very little about the cemetery on line and called the number listed here but never received a call back.
http://www.sharpstreet.org/mtauburn.html

Then is trying again at findagrave I came upon your name. Again thank you for your efforts at Mount Auburn.

I have a family bible that says Raymond Samuel Pomroy died in Baltimore on 25 Jan 1975 and was buried at Mount Auburn. I don't need a death cert and this is for a friend. Raymond is white. I was confused in what I did read about Mount Auburn but thought maybe in recent times some white people were buried there as paupers. Most likely then Raymond would not have a stone. But are the burial records available somewhere? I would just be happy to verify that Raymond is indeed buried there, even if no known grave location or stone exists. Thank you ever so kindly in advance for any help you can provide. -Mary Worcester MA

RE: Tom Loizeaux
Sean,

Thanks for linking Tom's parents. There's no need to transfer; you are probably closer to him as his friend then I am as a relative. I only recently figured out that he was related to me. I would love to hear more about Tom; he sounds like a fascinating person.

I think I also requested that Jeffrey be linked to Tom. I have a number of similar requests to that same person who owns the memorials of some of the Loizeaux family members buried at Druid Ridge Cemetery.

Best Regards,
Joe Canner

Rosenberger Family
In browsing the internet, I found my brother's (John Martin Rosenberger, Jr.) obituary and burial information on this website. I am Frank Rosenberger's granddaughter. I am curious as to how we are related.
