I have always been interested in my family history, and with the help of my mom ( who has been doing family genealogy since I was a little kid)I can go back several generations. I live just 2 blocks from Calvary Cemetery in Garrett, Indiana .Several family members , neighbors, friends ,founding fathers of Garrett and interesting people are now entombed there. Once I started with these people I couldn't stop. I plan on having everyone listed and a photo of every stone completed by the summer of 2012. Several stones are broken and lots of them are now almost unreadable and will be unreadable in the coming years. This is my small contribution to preserve the memory of the great folks in there. I encourage anyone to add a photo or request I transfer a family member to them so you can add stories and family links. God bless our Veterans !!!UPDATE : Calvary Cemetery is done !! I still have to update a few pictures, but everyone is listed. I have also started a friend group to help with this cemetery on facebook. "friends of calvary cemetery Garrett Indiana" This is a volunteer group to help raise money for mowing trimming and doing whatever it takes to make this a beautiful cemetery again.|

Hello. I'm just starting to get into my family heritage. Are any of the 2 of Polish descend? And do they have a son by the name John Martin Bloom who married Helen Elizabeth Bloom(Graham)who are apparently deceased. I believe Martin birth place is Ege, In and Helen birthplace is Waterloo, IN. Thanks so much.

HI David, I do not have the date of David Witherspoon's death, but could you check the cemetery records, for me please... I would be forever grateful to you... but I have a cemetery in southern Missouri, that had the only records, and their building burned to the ground, not once but twice... may you have the best of all the luck everyday of your life... s.orton
