I am familiar with Bell cemetary and have been there many times. I am interested in the photo of Samual Sportsman you posted and was curious were you got it and how i could get a copy.

William Cupp
William Cupp was my g-grandfather. b 1830 in Claiborne County TN; d 03-21-1884 in Chariton County MO. Thought you might want to post these dates. He was a sergeant in Slayback's Regiment. Copies of his POW documents are on my site at as well as some other stories. He named my grandfather William Slayback Cupp, so apparently he thought highly of the colonel.

RE: Cordon Cook
Thank you for telling me about my mistake on the spelling of the first name of Cordon Cook. I have corrected my mistake. Have a great day.

Claiborne & Mary Cupp

Many thanks for uploading actual photos of Claiborne and Mary Cupp.

Do you know if they have tombstones that are still legible?

We've corresponded in the past. I'm still plugging away on the Cupps & Coleman's. Found some information on George Coleman and his wife if you are interested.

Thanks again!!!
