My focus is primarily on Catholic families from Allegany County, Maryland and Mineral County, West Virginia. I am always happy when I can share local knowledge to help people find their ancestral roots. When I am not doing genealogy, I love ballroom dancing, tennis and yoga and Zumba.|
If I have posted a memorial for one of your ancestors, I will be happy to transfer it to you.
A friend and I are currently working on uploading burials from St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Cumberland, Maryland. So far, burials from 1853-1939 have been added.
Please let me know if you see any errors in my posts; I will be happy to fix them. And I am happy to transfer memorials of your family to you.

|Cindy Diaz Plummer||Diaz|
Hi, I just want you to know that the Diaz's you are changing are my family. You have Joseph Diaz being born in Spain. He was NOT born in Spain the only family child was Avelino my uncle who came over the my grandparents in 1912. Alfredo Angelo Diaz Botamino and Josefa Alvarez Leon. Over here they were called Fred and Josephine Diaz. On my father's birth record it has his last name as Alvarez but he was always Manuel Diaz. I know all the kids they had and there was no William. They were from Spain. All the kids had Spanish names. William is not a Spanish name. I don't believe you have the right Diaz's. There were also other Diaz's in Luke. Do the records have the parents name on them?
Thanks for posting the obit. Charles
