Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm new to genealogy having started in 2010. I decided to pick up where my Aunt Shirley has left off. She's done a great deal work over the years the old fashion way by mailing letters and traveling.
I have the luxury of a computer which has aided me tremendously in further research.

I'm researching my family for surnames of Paul, LaBar, Nichols, Bertalot, Carr, Studer, Andrews and Skinner. Most of them settled in the Wisconsin and Illinois area.

I am also researching my husbands family for the surnames of Grammer, Light, Crowell, Hiller, Bigley and Kile.

Douglas Rogers Hitchcock
This is not the gravesite. Douglas was cremated and his ashes were sprinkled in a local stream in Wildwood Park in Puyallup, Washington. Please make note of it on Memorial# 116601422. Thank you.

Parents of Margaret Ann Paul-Anderson
I am searching for the parents of my great-grandmother, Margaret Ann Paul. Margaret Ann (b. 1846 (possibly in Montgomery County, Illinois) d. 1905 in Neosho, Newton, Missouri.

She married Thomas Denton Anderson (b. 1844 in Tennessee; d. 1925 in Neosho, Newton, Missouri) in
1864 in Irving, Montgomery, Illinois.

Margaret Ann Paul's father was born in Germany in 1820; her mother Margaret Ann was born in France in 1824. Upon the husband's death, she remarried Otis Waters in Hamilton, Ohio on 02 March 1857.

If you have any information on any of these persons, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Fred Paul
Paulina Paul relative
Hi Nancy,
My name is Fred Paul and I'm a grandson of Paulina Paul. My dad (Fred, Sr.) was born in 1891 just a few years before his mom died. I know very little of my dad's history and just became interested in finding out more when I came across this site. I'd love to know more about the Paul and Studer family tree if you would be willing to share.
I look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Photo for George LaBar
I think it might be the metal marker they use for vets--if that helps.

PS--If you want, the next time I am in Waupaca, I can check the family death records and see if any other La Bars are buried there.
