Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired university teacher and librarian with interest in Civil War burials and burial practices. Also undertaking to photograph all cemeteries in Erath County, TX, and surrounding counties, then to enter the tombstone information into the database. Many older tombstones are in such shape as to be illegible, so corrections to bad or missing biographical information is welcomed.

Please make requests for additions, corrections, links, etc., directly from the memorials' "edit" feature rather than here. I'll get to them much faster. (Transfers to direct descendants, please, and not in bulk lots!)

Widemans in Ramsey Cemetery
A few days ago, I submitted a few edits on the Widemans buried in the Ramsey Cemetery in Erath County. Do I need to provide you with additional information before you are comfortable adding the new information?

Appreciate your efforts to post all of this information.

transfer memorial 92211404
This memorial is my grandfather, Granvel Thomas Nabors. I'd appreciate the transfer of his page to me. Also, please remove the nickname Big Daddy from his profile. Only his grandchildren called him that. That name was not used by anyone else.

Annie Chamberlin Davis
In your search of cemeteries in Erath Co TX, have you seen the tombstone of my great grandmother:
Annie Chamberlin Davis who died February 1900.
She was the wife of John Burton Davis.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Ken!

Would you consider transferring Jennie Griffin (Mary Eugenia Edmonds Griffin) great grandmother of my husband to my care? She had six children and they are scattered between Oklahoma, California and Texas and I'd like to link them and also attach her full birth and death dates and link her to her parents.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I have a photo of my husband with Jennie's gravestone from 2005 that I'd like to attach as well.

Best wishes!

A gentle "heads up". Your memorial for Raymond Lloyd Williaford is for the same person as Memorial #7478429.

I am curious if you are part of this Jones family?
Researching my gr gr grandmother Lou Jones (1851-1854 maybe) in Texas. I've seen her name assoc with different Jones in multiple census.
Her name has been documented as Lou, Lou C, Lou M, Louisa K Jones. Her marriage to L B Richardson is my connection.... I've just about exhausted all ways to find confirmed documentation for her... She is on a Census with an S A Jones(29yrs) in 1860, birth as 1854.
Thank you for your time!
