If you're contacting me regarding memorials I've added for Noble County, OH, please note that I have no personal ties to this area. I have photographed stones locally as a courtesy to help you find/locate your ancestors and family and represent the individuals in interim. If you are a relative of memorials I've added in Noble Co. and would like to take over maintenance, feel free to contact me and I'll gladly transfer memorial ownership to you. Please remember to include your member ID in the request. :)|
I will not transfer memorials of our direct ancestors.
Courtesy in Genealogy: It takes a great deal of legwork, and often financial investments, to do thorough research. If you've found information others have provided helpful, please take a moment to credit them your sources. :-)
UPDATE 8/2014: It's been a good run but I will not be adding more memorials. It's become too time consuming considering the photographing and editing, researching to verify, locate obits, etc., to have other scant memorials added in the wrong locations, incorrectly listed, or as "unknown burials" and edited/relocated later only to receive annoyed emails that I've duplicated a pre-existing memorial and asked to remove mine. I assure you that I check and double check to see if they're listed before I add them, and while I don't mind editing/amending them, it's a waste of my efforts to add memorials only to delete them and re-link entire families because someone else changed theirs.
Any from Noble you'd like transferred will be done whether within the official guidelines or not as I have no connection.

|Mike Adduddell||Your Super Wonderful Work!!|
Opps! pushed the wrong button.
Thank you for all your wonderful work. I know how much time, effort and resources this work requires. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and as we all pass on...you will find all of the family you have found and shared will thank you for being so loving to people you are not related to you (at least in this life). Such a great love for God's children.
Those of us that have found our family members because of your work--I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and others have helped me find 35,000+ family members. A number, I could not have dreamed possible. I know from my work, that these family members already sing your praises from the "other side". I know God and Christ will bless you for all you have accomplished.
If you would like to read some info on the origin of the Aduddell/Aduddle/Diddle/Duddle name you can see my Bio @ Find A Grave: 47365409.
I am writing this note to you because I know you have not received enough "Thanks" from us (the users of your time $$, concern, etc.) Thank you again for all you have done.
your friend forever,
Michael Dana Adduddell, firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you so much for the transfers of the Robinson grave entries in Noble Co., Ohio.

I have been working with "Highway Junkie" in respects to the Robinson family members buried in Noble County, Ohio. We've found a good deal of additional information on dates of birth and death for family members buried there. Could you transfer their entries to either her or myself to manage so we can add additional bio information?
Thank you for your many contributions to Find-A-Grave. They are greatly appreciated.

|Highway Junkie||Frank William Robinson|
Thanks Pam for correcting Frank William Robinson from E.W. And thank you for all the photos you've posted over the years - sorry to hear you had to stop but I certainly understand how time consuming it can be.
Thank you very much for doing the transfers. Thank you also for doing them so quickly, you are one of kind and I am glad I found you.
David referred me to you as someone with extensive knowledge of the Johnstons in southern Tuscarawas, Guernsey and Harrison Counties. My great great grandmother Anna Johnston was born Nov. 21, 1842 in Ohio. She married John B. Crom in Tuscarawas County Oct. 25, 1860 (by a j.p. from Perry Township). She and John are in Mill Township in the 1870 census. She died April 20, 1875 "at time of confinement of triplets" according to John Crom's Bible. I have contacted the Tuscarawas County Genealogical Society re: her death record, but they found nothing and suggested I look in nearby counties. I thought perhaps Anna's death record would reveal the names of her parents. I found an Anne Johnson living with a couple named Jones in 1860 Rush Twp. very close to where the Croms were living, but I haven't been able to find anything in 1850. One entry in my grandma's notes refers to Anna as Nancy but on her marriage record, census and in John Crom's obituary, she is referred to as Anna. My email address is email@example.com. I would appreciate any leads you could possibly give me. Thank you.

|Barb Harshey||Thank you very much|
How can I thank you enough. You have found my 2nd great grandfather and 2nd great grandmother. You are an angel. If you could possibly transfer them to me, I would be grateful. If not, I understand, as you have helped numerous individuals in your selfless acts of kindness. My 2nd great grandparents are David R. Meek (1820-1901) and his wife, Hannah Moore Meeks (1824-1909). They rest in peace in Wesley Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Tuscarawas Count, Ohio.
I'm sorry to read of your frustration and calling it quits. You did so much good and made so many connections. Many, many thanks to you for all you have done - for me and so many others.

Hi and thanks for the excellent analysis showing that Jane Steel's name was Burns and not Kissinger. Also thanks for all of the super work that you have done on FindAGrave.
