Infant Graves
Hi Karen,
I wonder if you would be
able to photograph
2 infant graves at
Forest Cemetery. I would
greatly appreciate it. I
live in California. My family
lived in Ohio. Thank you
marilyn

Geyer family
I have posted as stone for Mary Geyer, but there was no stone next to her for Charles. I found no card for him in the file at the cemetery office. However, I am reviewing all of the old burial permits and entering names on Find-A-Grave, as well as computerizing the records as I review the permits. This should include 1967 when you think Charles died. I will keep looking for his name, but for now there is no record of him being buried in Greenwood.

I found out all of the state hospital which included those in Sunshine cemetery were relocated to Forest Cemetery and there is some kind of special monument there honoring them. So I phoned Forest Cemetery and yes that's the place. thanks.

RE: New Bost Finding
Yep - I had the right email address...resent it
Included the following:
Hi Karen:
I was going through a bag of Wright stuff that I had taken to last year's reunion and discovered the following information. There was an interview recorded in September 1993 with Harley J. 'Tod' Bost. A cousin sent me a copy of the transcript she had typed from some notes made from the recording. A lot of it was in bits and pieces because it's very hard to follow. Here's a quote by 'Tod' that will definitely interest you:

"Benny Bost Snake Hollow Cem. There is a line from Grandma Caldwell's grave of Bosts. Sue McCorkel, a trustee telling her they digging up old graves and stacking them on top of each other." (I think the Snake Hollow Cemetery referred to might be an old name for Three Locks - I'll ask at this summer's reunion / dianne

"After Sonny died, she had a tombstone for him, she bought a footstone and had it laid 6 feet from the tombstone. Turned the footstone upside or over when they came through a backhoe coming to take another monument someplace."

"Todd Bost had his Dad and Mom dug up and moved them to Greenlawn."
THIS WOULD BE YOUR JACOB JR. AND JULIA!!!

I wonder if you contacted the Ross County Health Department they would have a re-interment record? I wonder when this would have been done? Maybe the Greenlawn office would have the answer.
Have a great day!
Dianne
