We have been tracing our family trees for a number of decades. As part of that research, we have walked a number of cemeteries photographing the gravestones. Jim's genealogy centers on Mason County, WV and Elizabeth's family comes from the western New York area. |
ADDITIONS or CORRECTIONS
Changes to names, dates, places and relationships can be easily made under the Edit tab on any memorial.
The purpose of Find A Grave is to record burial locations, not build your family tree. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
If you wish to gather your family members, use the "Virtual Cemetery" feature.
All the current policies on transfers can be found at "How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?" under the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left hand side of the page.
Requests for transfers outside of direct relatives within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren) will not be honored.
Photographs we have taken can be used on other websites or in printed materials ONLY if credit is given to Findagrave.com (including cemetery name) and credit is given to "Jim and Elizabeth" as photographers. Any images we have uploaded are copyrighted and are not free for the taking without proper credit.

Your 8621789 (M. Alexander Lanier) at Beech Hill Cemetery in Mason County West Virginia has been duplicated by 125618815 (Mathew Alexander "Alex" Lanier) at the same cemetery. Discovered this while adding photos of relatives buried in our church's cemetery at Beech Hill. Since that other entry includes more information than yours, thought you might want to delete your entry for this person, to eliminate the duplication.
You guys sure did a GREAT job of photographing so many gravestones in so many cemeteries. Really appreciate the time you spent providing so much hard-to-find information for the rest of us!!
|Bill Wood||Thank you, AGAIN!!!|
Once again, you have come through for our family. We appreciate your efforts tremendously.
|Bill Wood||Thank YOU!|
The four photos that you took at Oakwood Cemetery have helped to complete our family history. Thank you very much! Bill W.
Hi, thanks so much for photographing this headstone. It is a shared headstone with his wife Esther, would you please add it to her memorial #149906680. You are appreciated.

Hello Elisabeth, hello Jim,
many thanks for taking the fotos of the graves of Otto Schaller and Gerorge Schaller.
George and Otto Schaller have been the brothers of my father. They emigrated to the USA in early 19th.
In this summer I will come to the USA and we will make a round trip with friends from Pennsylvania to Canada. I would like to visit the graves of my uncles. Is there a map or similar of those Oakwood graveyard, to find the graves?
Many thanks for your assistence.
A second question: Do you have information, who is "Zink" the other persons in the grave of Otto and Eleanore Schaller?
With kind regards
|Sally T.||Grace & Nelson Smith|
