Bio Photo US Navy Veteran -- More than half of the graves I manage are no kin at all. A number are veterans which just caught my eye while in a cemetery. If any are your family, please feel free to ask for a transfer. I'm only too happy to return them to the rightful family members. VR. Mags.

RE: Re: Mayflower
Very funny! Your wife and I should have our DNA tested, We surely share a lot of genes. I guess we should always be kind to everyone. Would be surprised to know how many people we meet that we are related to!

RE: Infant King #66426916
Thanks Mags. Thought you might be a descendant of the pioneer Rye Valley Padrick Family as you were photographing their graves. Their daughter Augusta "Gussie" Padrick married in Baker Co. Charles H. Shaw. This grave was for their infant daughter and they were unable to have other children. Glad we are preserving her memory for them. The stone has certainly deteriorated since we were there in 1990.

I am doing this for my husband. He is too busy hiking!! haha His history is far more interesting than mine. His people were always on the move -- to see what was over the next mountain and he surely carries those genes. My six Mayflower families pretty much stayed put in Massachusetts and Maine and were farmers or lumbermen. (Tell you wife, mine are 3 Mullins, Alden, Doty, & Soule) Regards.

Greetings Mags, We have just begun to load photos that we took for a King-Padrick book in 1990. Glad you are preserving these old grave stones. A very worthwhile project. Know Mary Padrick King would be grateful as she always wanted all of her 12 children to be buried near her. Most of them are -- in Valley View Cemetery, Vale, Malheur Co., Oregon. I just linked this baby boy to his family so many siblings names will soon appear on his memorial.
Do you maintain the site? If so, It would be nice to add Son to the title. If you are related to Gussie Shaw -- we are cousins! Thank you for the work you do. N & L Moore
