Same message as the one below. The memorial that was the original per find-a-grave definitions as it was in the correct cemetery originally has been deleted. Please request a new photo to replace the one that was deleted with the memorial. And please, do not create burial unknowns and never move a memorial from an incorrect cemetery to a correct one without checking first. It is putting your account at risk.
|Anne Cady||Fred Myers in Arlington|
You recently moved a burial unknown memorial for Fred Myers into Arlington National cemetery. I have a favor to ask. Before doing that in the future, the site rules are to check to see if there is already a memorial in the correct cemetery. If there is, then yours is a duplicate, no matter how much earlier it was created. Any information you have should be sent to the manager of the memorial that was in the correct cemetery to begin with, and you can ask for a transfer of it if you like. Creating of duplicate memorials (as well as burial unknowns) is against the rules of the site that we all agree to abide by when we get accounts. It would be wise to be careful as folks have had their accounts suspended for violations (temporarily and in some cases permanently). For now, I have deleted the original memorial that was in Arlington for Fred and left yours in place. Please put in a request for a new photo of the marker to replace the one that got deleted.

You are most welcome.
|L. E. Fuahs||Harlan Birkhold|
I just uploaded a photo of Bonnie Burkhold’s tombstone. I obtained this photo by going slowly up and down the roads in Lehman Cemetery until I saw the tombstone picture from Find A Grave for Harlan. While doing the housekeeping (cutting grass, etc.) I noticed that the veteran plate on the back of the stone was not on Harlan’s site. I have, therefore, posted its picture on the site as well. If you do not wish to have this picture on the site, I shall remove it. Notice that he earned a bronze star.
|auntie 'G'||transfer of find-a-grave site|
would you be so kind as to transfer the find-a-grave site on Felton DeWitt McAfee DOB 12-12-1925 to me. He was my older brother. Thank you so much for inputting this information. Auntie "G".
