*I ask that you do not copy any of my photos WITHOUT MY CONSENT or WITHOUT GIVING ME PROPER CREDIT. Too many times my photos have been "lifted" from either at F.A.G. or at Ancestry.com where they have been reposted to a foreign website and in order to view them, one must pay a fee. Additionally, I have come across many of my photos on other genealogy websites with no mention of a credit.|
While I will let most people copy a photo if it is to be used for genealogy purposes, I strictly prohibit people using any of my photos for monetary gain. All I ask is that you give me credit for any photos you would like to copy.
Regarding transfers of memorials - I will be happy to transfer a memorial if the person is not related to me or an ancestor of mine. Transfers should be within the F.A.G. guidelines, i.e., NO BULK SURNAME REQUESTS and only for direct relatives within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren).
As per F.A.G. guidelines, transfers for non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) are not required to be transferred.
With that being said, I have to say that I inherited my interest in "root-digging" from my Dad, who has always been fascinated with history and genealogy.
I like the connection it gives me to the past and it lets me leave something behind for future generations.
While I strive to be as accurate as possible, sometimes human error can occur. If there are any corrections to be made, don't hesitate to let me know.

|TuxedoFrank ||James & Ruth Kirkaldy|
James Kirkaldy 1900-1945 and his wife Ruth (Sachse) Kirkaldy 1904-1949:
Buried at Hillside Cemetery in Palatine.
Thank you for adding these photos and information to the website. James was my fathers brother and I have been researching my fathers side of my Kirkaldy Tree. The information you presented here is very valuable for my research.
James was one of 12 Children of Louise and James Stewart Kirkaldy. All gone now.
I am looking for Jennifer (Jenny or Jean)Kirkaldy. No luck so far, She was James sister and died sometime in the late 30's I believe. I know she married at 17 and divorced at 18.
|Surfinwindsurfing||Birth Place Heinrich Friedrich Anton Lageschulte * 1845|
Hello Wendy, I think, the birth place of Heinrich Friedrich Anton Lageschulte * March 1st, 1845, is Schale-Dorf - not Berlin ( ? ). Parents of him: Gerhard Heinrich Lageschulte & Anna Adelheid Landwehr. Do you agree? Many thanks and best regards, Hanna
|James Frost||RE: Amanda Berlin|
Thanks for the info.
FYI, I am working on a history project to recreate lost records for St. John (Plum Grove) Evangelical (UCC) Church. I just started with the cemetery's known names. I found Amanda's parents at Evergreen Cemetery and then found that they had been married at St Johns in 1888. If you know of any other family events (baptisms, confirmations, marriages, funerals) or memberships at the church, I would be thrilled to include them.

|Erika (Rikki) McGowan||Dorothy Dolly Mason Sutherland|
Dolly,# 81849832 was my 5th great grandmother. she and Silas # 81849806 had a son named Captain Mason Sutherland # 9605072. I want to link him to his parents, but we can't link a child from a parent's page. sadly, the person who created the memorial for Capt. Mason passed away recently. her name was Bev #47588577.
|Bart Kowallis||Headstone Photo|
Wendy -- I would like to use one of your headstone photos (Frank and Amber Wells, Memorial# 76146731) in a descendancy book I am compiling. I will certainly credit you in the book. The book is a non-commercial book, but I do plan to place it in several libraries and will likely have a digital copy online. Let me know if this will be okay. Thanks for your consideration. --Bart
Thank you for helping me find the final resting place of a family member.
|Erika (Rikki) McGowan||Dolly Mason Sutherland|
hello. Dolly was her nickname. her first name was really Dorothy.
|Erika (Rikki) McGowan||RE: Silas Sutherland|
cool! I added my great grandmother's grave on here. she died when I was 9. her parents had 4 daughters, so the Sutherland name ended with her. but we are all still Sutherlands. I got to be in the parade of clans at the Seattle Scottish Highland Games this year. it was soooooo great!
|Darlene ||Kate Ebel|
Thank you for sending Kate Ebel's obituary, it is very helpful. Family stories had Kate coming to the USA after her husband's death in Germany, which may not be true. It is not necessary to transfer memorial to me, your information is better documented than mine and I appreciate your help. Thanks again
