Bio and Links
Bio Photo I starting doing genealogy to find my relatives that were in the Civil War. However, it has become quite the consuming hobby. I find I keep spending more time running around cemeteries, looking for relatives. I also try to get photos while at the cemeteries. I don't agree with the 4th generation rule. If your family, let me know and I'll transfer the management over. Unless the individual is some of my family. I have a lot of family between Cumberland, York, Adams, and Dauphin Counties in Pennsylvania. I also research my wife's family who are concentrated in the Cumberland and Franklin county areas.

If you have information to update a memorial, let me know along with the source or your interest in the subject and I will be more than happy to update it. I like to see memorials with as much correct information as they can have.

Hi there,

The staff at this rather large cemetery gets attitudinal when I request a long list of locations. They are much more receptive to family members and genealogists. Would you be so kind as to call them and ask where they are so I can add the section in which this person is interred? I plan on visiting in the near future with a list in hand. Thank you!

Hoping to get to your photo request just after the New Year. Bad weather and sick kids are making it difficult to get out. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the obit for Violet. I updated her memorial. If you would like any of the Holtry memorials I have please let me know and I would be more than happy to transfer them over. I was just researching William and while doing research on him I was adding other Holtrys as I came across them in my research. They are no relation to me.
