Bio and Links
Bio Photo We completed a survey of all known cemeteries in McMinn County plus transcribed McMinn County death certificates from 1914-1955.
***************************
Surnames we are reseaching: Marvin's lineage = Templin, Click, Bryant, Sisk, Smith, Waddell, Gross. Samme's lineage = Carpenter, Simpson, Hutsell, Julian, Warren
***************************
Whenever we go out to fill a request, we try to take photos of a few of the surrounding burials. Never know when you might help someone find a lost relative. We also take tombstone pictures of any veterans we see, as we try to honor ALL VETERANS regardless of when they served.
***************************
A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken tombstone pictures for us.
***************************
We are always working on adding veterans to national cemeteries. Our way of honoring our veterans.

When asking for a memorial transfer, PLEASE use "Edit" then "Suggest A Correction" instead of posting message here. Thanks

Hi,

the link for this memorial to his spouse is from the ladies grave. I believe that person to be his mother. His father is listed in same cemetery.

Thank you. I just found my Uncle's grave. I shared this with his brother who remembered going to the cemetery many years ago.
We appreciate that you took the photo.

Milton and Martha Just, Jefferson Barracks
Hi Marvin and Samme, I've seen your names often and thank you very much for the work you do. I suggested a birthplace update for Martha through Edit and just wanted you to know I'm starting with Familysearch as my source, now that I was able to post a WWII era graduation photo of her husband, Milt. Milt was a comrade and I believe an instructor for medical training in Camp Barkeley, Texas, WWII. I found some photos of Milt, my Dad, and others in my Dad's personal files after he passed away. I would like to get Milt all linked up, but wanted you to know my source for any updates. Thank you very much. Loretta

I just wanted to thank you for uploading the picture of my little sister's headstone. For years, I had no idea where she was interred, and though I have also taken and posted my own photo, I appreciate that someone took the time to find and take one as well. It has inspired me to help others---luckily, I live close to Colma, the "City of Souls" (where the dear departed FAR outnumber the living residents). Though free time is at a minimum, I'll do my best. Thanks again!

Nell Hall Elliot
Memorial 8182626
Thanks for helping me. Nell's death certif. said she was buried in Bethlehem Cemetery. So is the Campgroud cemetery the same as the Bethlehm Cemetery. Or could she be just in an unmarked grave in the Bethlehm Cemtery?
Thanks for your Help.
Jule

Roni Blankenship
Wife of James Monroe Eaves
Hello!
Thank you for all the work you do for find-a-grave. I have seen your entries showing that we have visited many of the same cemeteries. I am a great-granddaughter of James Monroe Eaves who is buried in Walker County, GA with his wife Mary Emily Liner. I have a question about the name you have listed for his mother. My great aunts always told us that their mother was named Sarah Shaw. I noticed that you have the name Jones listed on your entry. Did you find that on something?

Thank you,
Ronnelle Eaves Blankenship
