I have been doing my genealogy for 35 years. I am mainly interested in the following surnames: Wintermute (also Windemuth, Wintermote and Wintemute), Sanborn, Hall (Bradford, MA and Rumney, NH), Moody (Essex County, Virginia), Gatewood, Brown (Jefferson County, WI), and Hollinger.|

Just went into my files...and just in case as there weren't a large number of Hollingers in the Jefferson/Walworth County areas....my relation is with Lyman W Hollinger...he married my great aunt Della Jones...my great grandmother was Bertha Jones her sister. Della and Lymans daughter was Dorothy Hollinger! You never know!!
Hi again Bradley,
I just read your bio......you have Hollinger family in Jefferson, WI? Would you happen to know a Dorothy Hollinger? I also have Hollinger (through marriage) family in So. Wisconsin!

Hi Bradley.....well I wish I had a death certificate that's for sure! I get what you're saying about the birth date, but we all know, as you've been at this game as long as I have...grave marker info and family's knowledge don't always add up....the fact that it's within a 30 day time frame and most especially that his daughter Miriam's grave marker is right there at Old Taberg Cemetery showing Keziah (Blodgett) Alden & Samuel Alden as her parents, in my opinion is a fairly good indicator. The info in my family's Alden bible for Samuel, it is noted that he was buried in Taberg, Oneida County sometime in the 1850s, so I'm okay with it. I ran a pretty thorough search in the rest of Oneida County, with nothing even remotely close, only one other Samuel and the ages don't match. The August 9, 1850 Oneida AG census also shows him there and just five years before his death. I am descended from Samuel & Miriam (Glazier) and their son, Royal Alden. What is your descendant line? If you are uncomfortable with using this memorial in Taberg, then certainly just maintain your memorial for him, I have absolutely no problem with that.

I went searching for her last week. I could not locate her gravesite. I was told that she was buried under the name of Bell. Would that be correct. I also found a Anna Bell, I don't know if any of this would help you. Should I be looking under a different name. I will go there on Monday, to ask them to search under all names. I was told by the office assistant, that she was buried under the name of "Bell".
Will try again,

I am not understanding the phrase 'non cemetery burial' that is used in her record. Would you clarify what that means? She is a 4th great grandmother.
thanks in advance -

Thank you for replying. Yes I realized afterwards that I had two screens open and had bumped the one and thought I was "seeing double". My mistake.
Yes, Fluk IV is my 27th Great Grandfather on my maternal side.

We have an Anna Strawn Wilson buried in Long Grove Cemetery, Maynard, IA with the same information as yours. Our Anna was married to George Wilson. Thanks.

Thanks so much. Elizabeth's first husband, Mr. Lanning died 1871 and the marker was constructed for 2 people at that time so I guess it was meant for her!
I am related to Elizabeth. Her maiden name was Struble and I am descended from that line. Elizabeth was a sister to my 2nd great grandmother. I am not related Wintermute. I knew some Wintermute family growing up in Chesterville Ohio, where Maple Grove cemetery is
Located. Perhaps I knew your relatives?
