We have been tracing our family trees for a number of decades. As part of that research, we have walked a number of cemeteries photographing the gravestones. Jim's genealogy centers on Mason County, WV and Elizabeth's family comes from the western New York area. |
ADDITIONS or CORRECTIONS
Please submit these with the "Suggest a Correction" link under the white "Edit" tab on the memorial page. If you are requesting a link, please include the memorial's ID number in the request.
The purpose of Find A Grave is to record burial locations, not build your family tree. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
If you wish to gather your family members, use the "Virtual Cemetery" feature. Many volunteers spend countless hours walking, photographing, and uploading memorials as a genealogical resource for everyone.
Requests for transfers outside the "Family First" policy will not be honored. (Note: "Family First" as defined by Find A Grave in the FAQs are direct relatives within four generations as siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren)
All the current policies on transfers can be found at "How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?" under the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left hand side of the page.
Photographs we have taken can be used on other websites or in printed materials ONLY if credit is given to Findagrave.com (including cemetery name) and credit is given to "Jim and Elizabeth" as photographers. Any images we have uploaded are copyrighted and are not free for the taking without proper credit.

Forgive me for not realizing sooner!
These are my husband's Relative's and I do want to thank you so very much for taking the picture's and helping me out in this way! I've been wanting to get down that way to do some genealogy, but am finding it difficult to do!
Have a wonderful day and and a safe 4th!

|Judy B||Jetta Turner|
Going out on a limb here....
Hoping you might be able to help me find out the maiden name of Jetta Turner. Her grave marker is at Graham.
Thanks, Judy Turner Burdette

Nevermind about my request for taking a picture of the other side of the headstone for my aunt, CORA MAE EDWARDS FERGUSON POLING. I see that you maintain the memorial for my Uncle Hoyt already and you already took a picture. Thx! ~Sherry Craig Retzler

Thank you very much for the photo you took for my Aunt Cora. If you're ever in Kirkland Memorial Gardens again, could you please take the other side of that headstone which should read JAMES "HOYT" FERGUSON? It would be most appreciated! ~Sherry Craig Retzler
|Michael Shaffer||John Charles Hyer # 88183785|
The headstone you posted on John Hyer's memorial is correct. Thanks for pointing out the error on the birth year. That was an oversight on my part.
Thank you so much for the photos of the Camp grave marker. I appreciate it so much.
|Ron Stewart||Thanks - and a favor|
Thank you for taking and posting the tombstone photo of Herman Lawrence Stewart's tombstone and for having the forethought to include the tombstone of his wife Josephine buried beside him. I did not know either her dates of birth or death or her burial location. Your photo supplied the answers to these questions.
I have now created a memorial for Josephine Sebrell Stewart and have requested a photo of her tombstone. Would you be so kind to post the same photo to her memorial too?
This is an example of what makes Find A Grave the wonderful resource that it is and also highlights how helpful photo volunteers truly are. I greatly appreciate your help.
