Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired businessman who enjoys genealogy as a hobby. I find that genealogy and "Find a grave" go hand in hand and its easy to do both at the same time and both are very rewarding.

In adding Memorials for those in my family I have added memorials for many non-relatives in hope that it will help others as others have helped me. If I've submitted a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to you, just ask. I live in the Omaha metro area and thats where most of my photos were taken.

Researching Bender, Ausdemore,Hittner, German,Ternus, Bockholt, Hatzenbuehler, Kramer, Wickelman and many others. Most of My family came from Germany in the Mid 1800s and settled in the North Eastern Nebraska German farming comunities and spread from there.

In my research if I run across a grave of someone in the Military that is Killed in Action they get special attention and i try to find out as much as i can about them and put it on the Memorial. We owe it to these Heros and they should not be forgotten.

I authorize anyone to use my photos for any reason.

RE: Marion Jarecki
His father, Jan (sometimes spelled John) Jarecki is buried in the old section of St. Mary Magdalene cemetery in Omaha, in an unmarked grave. He passed on in 1928. (I can find the grave, but I don't have a plot number.) Marion's brother Edward (mentioned in the newspaper article) is buried here:

His brother John was buried in Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Omaha, as well, but I don't have a plot number. Both John and Edward were also veterans who survived the war.

Thanks again - it meant a lot to find your listing, and I appreciate it so much.

Jarecki Memorial
Thank you so much for your entry concerning Marion Jarecki, who was killed in WWII. He was my mother's uncle and it is so lovely to both have him memorialized here and to see the accompanying newspaper clipping. Thank you, again.

My email to you.
Sorry, jumped the gun before I looked at Mr. Gannon's page and saw the "front piece" for the "O" st. location. However, Fairview Cemetary on 84th & Adams, is associated with Wyuka (just for future reference should you need it). Will follow up on your request in the near future. Best regards, Keith Stroebel

RE: Walter Budt
Glad I could help. Walter isn't that far from where my G.G.G. Grandparents are at the cemetery. I'm in the process of marking his grave with a military headstone from the Mexican-American War. They relocated to Syracuse after the Civil War.
